“Short say”

We stayed in this hotel for two nights whilst driving down to the South Coast. It is well situated and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, air-conditioned, perfect for a short stay. Free Wi-Fi was a bonus.

“Functional hotel well situated for an overnight stay”

Staff very helpful and friendly. Willing to book and provide advise for booking dinner. Room however was main road facing, very small and very hot. We had to sleep with the window open which meant all the traffic noise flooded into the room. Aircon did not seem to work only the heating. The hotel is a good stop over options, minutes walk from the beautiful town centre and has secure basement parking.

“Small rooms, but adequate for a short stay”

I stayed at this hotel for one night with my wife. The staff was very curteous and helpful. They all spoke fluent English. As others have mentioned the rooms are very small and efficient. If you are staying for more than 2 nights you may want to consider another hotel. I was unable to connect to the WIFI internet with my NETbook. There is a MAC computer in the lobby available for use too - I was unable to get onto the internet with their computer either. I did not reserve a parking spot in the garage, but luckily there was parking on the street in front of the hotel. If you are travelling during high season you may want to reserve a parking spot. The continental breakfast was not included with the expedia booking. It was an extra 9Euros per person. There was also an additional charge for local taxes.

Traveller's tip
I would definitely recommend the wine tasting & bike tour offered by one of the two bike shops. Make sure you book in advance as they have a tendency to run out of bikes.

“Gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis”

Das Hotel liegt an einer Einfallsstraße nahe dem Zentrum von Beaune, leicht zu erreichen, Garageneinfahrt direkt rechts neben dem Hotel, alles gut zu Fuß zu erreichen, alle sehr freundlich, guter Zimmerstandard, neues Bad.

Area recommendations
Beaune ist eines wenn nicht das Zentrum der Weingegend des Burgund, ein Dutzend Weinverköstigungen mit und ohne Essen oder Kellerbesichtigungen können arrangiert werden, ein Muss für jeden Weinliebhaber ist der Besuch des nahegelegenen Merseault mit seinem riesigen Keller. Wer Spitzenküche (und Aufenthalt) sucht (und bezahlt), ist in der nahegelegenen Hostellerie de Livernois gut aufgehoben. In Beaune bietet das Restaurant Conty in der Rue de Ziem eine gemütliche fast private Atmosphäre bei guten Speisen und Weinen.

“A recommander vivement!”

Très bel établissement, très bien situé.Le personnel est accueillant et chaleureux , les chambres confortables. Séjour agréable!

Hôtel Central - Restaurant le Cheval Blanc - 2 rue Victor Millot (Tout près de la Place Carnot) Une très bonne table (Spécialités Régionales)! Des saveurs raffinées pour un prix très abordable. Un merveilleux souvenir!

“Très bon hôtel”
