We stayed arrived at Rydon Farm on a Saturday afternoon to check in before attending a wedding that evening in Budleigh. Sally was wonderful and welcoming and went out of her way to make sure we could check in at a time to suit our schedule as we were travelling down from Manchester. We stayed in the Otter Room which was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Breakfast in the morning was homecooked and delicious - we could not have asked for a better B&B.

This bed and breakfast is located on the first floor of an absolutely lovely home. The rooms, the home and the neighboring homes are among the nicest you will find. You need to share a bathroom with other guests, but the bathroom facilities will be among the best you have ever experienced. The husband and wife owners were very nice and breakfast was excellent. You have the feeling that you are actually a friend of the family. I am a light sleeper and a commuter rail service ran nearby, but it was not a problem.
"Great room/ bathroom but for me it's not an hotel"
For me and my wife, this place constitutes a B&B not an hotel.
There is no permanent staff so no facilities like room service.
Meals were not available other than breakfast where only smoked bacon was on the hot breakfast menu.
(We are not fond of smoked bacon)
Tea and shortbread on the lawn when we arrived set the tone for this 3 night break in East Devon at Strete Ralegh Farm. Nice spacious room with equally spacious bathroom and for those who like horses some elegant thoroughbreds to admire in the stables. Super breakfasts. Highly recommended.

My husband and I needed a place to stay for one night, and this charming, comfortable and welcoming B&B made our trip much more pleasant! Ms Frances, the owner, is a fantastic host, she made a fantastic breakfast for us, the bedroom had fresh flowers, and the place was simply a great experience!
From the warm welcome at the door, I was instantly impressed and relaxed. Our room was huge, with a wonderful bathroom, and the setting was perfect, with a large mature garden available to guests. Breakfast was of the highest quality, particularly the sausages.
On our second night we wanted to go to the Jack in the Green, a nearby gastropub, but we weren't able to get a taxi, so the owner Dominic very kindly gave us a lift and the owner of the pub ran us home. Great weekend and I hope to go back soon.
