“Bad Customer Service”
This place is in a good location and has an acceptable level of comfort and facilities. With the exception of one member of the reception staff they were all really friendly, sadly though they were all pretty badly trained and therefore in all cases fairly useless at what they were supposed to be doing. In all aspects of my stay I very much felt that I was there on the terms of the staff and what they were prepared to do, at no stage did any of them anticipate my needs or go any way to make my stay comfortable and relaxed. The evening meals were of a decent quality but I felt completely abandoned by the staff on all 3 nights, plus the length of time between courses was regularly around 45 mins. Breakfast was particularly miserable an poor quality, on all three mornings I found it impossible to get a cooked breakfast or on one morning even coffee or toast, I had to go in search of staff for even the basics. Vague and haphazzard is the best way to descirbe this hotels approach. All this would have just about been tolerable had it not been for the incredibley unhelpful and cheeky girl at reception at my check out. Sadly I cannot recommend this hotel as I left feeling angry and stressed.
“Great room”
First visit - one night stay whilst visiting friends in area. Proved excellent choice. A great room.Well looked after by Reception - free internet access on hotel computer in Lobby a helpful provision - enjoyed Dinner in the restaurant (impressed with attentiveness and response of staff) and very good breakfast following morning. Would stay again if needed to be in area. Although primarily a Hotel on a Golf Course we found no distinction between us just being Hotel guests as opposed to users of the other facilities.

we booked specificaly a double room by expedia and ended up with a twin room.when we asked in the reception if they can change to a double they said that the hotel was full but the following day we were told that it wasnt actually full. the buffet breafast was poor .the bathroom supply was poor. the cold and hot taps were seperated which was quiet annoying but the hotel and the grounds were very nice.

We had a lovely large room with a balcony you could sit out out on over looking the golf course which they kindly upgraded us to. We were however disappointed that there was not a fridge or a safe in the room for the use of guests.

Not impressive. Difficult to find as no driving directions in sight for miles and most of the local roads were not numbered. Restaurant simply worth avoiding, prefer the loval pubs for dinner.

We enjoyed our stay at the Woodbury Park Hotel and hope to make another visit this year.
