Rooms

All of our bedrooms are clean, airy and ensuite. Each room is equipped with a Flat Screen TV with integrated Freeveiw and DVD, alarm clock radio, Free wi-fi access, hot bevarage making facilities, sweets, complimentary bottled water, branded toiletries and a hairdryer. Fresh milk in individual jugs has now been made available for all guests if required by means of a small fridge located on the first floor of the building. This is in addition to the jiggers of cream and milk available in rooms.

Dining

The dining room at The Shirley can seat up to 20 people and is situated at the front of the establishment. It is tastefully decorated with an oriental theme running through it, featuring art deco mirrors and hand made chinese wooden screens on two of the walls. It also boasts the most beautiful chandelier as a centre piece. An elegant room in which you can enjoy your breakfast. The room can also be arranged to host special events and functions such as receptions and parties.

“Next time I go to Torquay, I will stay here”

I went with a couple of friends. The customers ranged of all ages. The staff are really friendly. Each time we went in and out, they always had a conversation with us, i.e asking what we have been up to. They also suggested attractions to visit. Dissapointed that the pool wasn't open. The weather was bad the first day but it was really nice the other days so they could have opened it. If you were desparate to swim though, they would happily open the pool especially for you. I will definately stay there again and will recommend it to anyone!

Traveller's tip
Buses around Torquay are very expensive. If you are there for at least 4 days you can get a bus ticket for the whole time for cheaper!
