All rooms are tastfully decorated, with the comfort of our guests formost in our minds. We have five double rooms, including a four poster room with a king-sized bed, four twin/family x3 rooms and one family x4 room. All rooms are en-suite and contain Freeview colour TV, alarm clock and radio, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, tea/coffee making facilities and complimentary toiletries.

The Norwood has dining facilities on the lower ground floor in a spacious and well arranged room. Each room have their own table. A tasty selection of cooked options are available, along with cereals, fresh fruit, dried fruit, yogurt and preserves. Toast, tea and coffee is freely available.

“Would go back”

Very Friendly staff , Good Food, Clean Rooms what more do you want from a B&B? The negatives. Only three parking bays at the back of the B&B with no rear enterance. There is parking on the near by streets juust need to watch the restrictions. Not good for you if you can't do hills. Would definatley go back though you are made to feel really welcome by the owners.

“lovely hotel and friendly staff”

We had a really warm welcome with a cup of of tea offered when we arrived.Mary and Veronica couldnt do enough for us and the food was the best we have had with plenty of choice. If we have one gripe it would be our room (11)it was very disappointing.Once we had left my mother in her room which was lovely we went up to our room.When inside it was very tiny and we could barely get round the bed.This was a shame because everything else about the norwood was great.We would go back but we would make sure we didnt get room 11.

Area recommendations
All of torquay was nice,but the gardens on the front were brilliant.They are good for all the family with golf ,tennis,bowls etc.something for everyone.

“A fantastic B and B!”

My friend and I had a lovely night in Torquay. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and a good size and breakfast was huge and varied. I would recommend this B and B highly.

“Very good stay”

Very nice location, within walking distance from the harbour. Staff (or owners?) were all lovely, friendly and helpful, specially the lady at breakfast, nothing was soo much effort for her! The room had a quite tacky decoration but it was rather funny in the end, and the confort and cleaniness of the room were very good.

“The Perfect B&B - exceptional value for money”

So pleased I searched Expedia & came across this Hotel, lovely, & very friendly owners, made us feel very welcome. We only stayed one night but it was the best nights sleep we've had in ages, our en-suite room was perfect, lovely comfortable four poster bed, plenty of storage, TV, Kettle, tea / coffee, & a very hand electric fan which helped keep our room cool on a very warm night. The food available at breakfast was amazing, fresh fruit, cereals, full english, toast, jam, tea, fruit juice. Overall, a clean, very comfortable, nicely decorated B&B with good facilities - home from home. !!! Exceptional value for money & we wouldn't hesitate in going back again!!!
