When you were in the restaurant the staff were great. Nothing was too much trouble. If you needed any information at reception they were ace. The bus stops are just outside hotel which is great if you need to get into town or just a five minute into town.
Superb facilities, great family owned hotel. Been there for the last 18 years for our second holiday each year. Food in restaurant is excellent and buffet breakfast fantastic. People return and return to this hotel, my kids are 17 and 18 years old and still want to go, that says a lot. Your first visit won't be your last!

The hotel was fine. It was mostly clean but very tatty and in need of refurbishment or at least a lick of paint. Great location, near to the sea and the town.
Staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Breakfast should be avoided, at £5 per head for a sausage that didn't appear to have any actual meet in it, cheap bacon, and tinned mushrooms or egg and toast, seems more than a little steep but at least the toast was nice!
I would stay again. Good for children as they have the two pools, games room and great climbing frame in the garden. However, although we didn't eat our evening meals there, we did see that the children's menu is not available for the evening do children wishing to eat from it cannot eat with their kids or the kids have to eat from the adults menu later.
We booked this hotel after reading various reviews. Though only a 3 star hotel we were pleasantly surprised with everything about it. Our terrace bedroom was large with a lovely modern bathroom. The food was excellent with a varied menu each evening and was served by very attentive staff. Highly recommended!!
Fantastic hotel, in a perfect location, 5-10 mins away from the beach, and restaurants.
The owners of the hotel greeted us with a warm and friendly service, we were given tea and coffee, whilst they gave us information about the hotel and its attractions, we were even presented with a list of the best restaurant to visit.
Breakfast were delicious nothing was too much to ask for. Hotel very clean and well presented.

We stayed 4 nights at The Riviera Lodge,we found the hotel spotlessly clean and the staff pleasant. There is an excellent outdoor pool and a hot tub which were both great with plenty of loungers.Breakfast is ample and of a high standard. Our room was a compact room, although small was adequate for us.The bathroom was of a high standard and like new. There is a large lounge area with a bar.

Excellent welcome on arrival with pot of tea and friendly chat with Glyn. We were shown two available rooms and selected Room 15 with a spacious balcony overlooking the swimming pool and garden. The room was well equipped and comfortable. We booked a three-night stay in early September and found this a peaceful location within easy walking distance of the centre of Babbacombe. Excellent breakfasts provided by Glyn and Aida in the spacious dining room overlooking the pool and garden. We will definitely return here again.
