Good package for a couple of nights.

Posted 01-Sep-2014
Pros: A kind of all inclusive, its a good package for the money.
Cons: Wifi and access to it, heating is pitiful
Location: Near motorway and airport, also very close to park and ride. Exeter is a very nice city.
You get what you pay for, the wifi is very weak and fiddly to access.

Adequate hotel for short or business stay.

Posted 29-Aug-2014
Pros: The fantastic pub next door.
Cons: More english speaking cleaning staff.
Location: See above.
Hotel is probably more for business travellers, not much close for tourists. However there is an excellent pub just next door, the Barn Owl, fantastic. Hotel staff professional, helpful when asked, but typically aloof like most British front office staff. Cleaning staff seemed to be all foreigners, hard to get them to understand what you want. Pleasant stay overall, but a car is essential.

All good but the bed was very uncomfortable

Posted 13-Aug-2014
And the AC unit did not blow put warm air so no heating in the room. Breakfast fantastic but they might want to serve fresh apple juice and fresh orange juice instead of cordial and if not then please label juice as cordial so need to add water we drank 2 glasses thinking is was extra sweet juice and I think so did a lot of the other guests.

Terrible nights sleep

Posted 04-Aug-2014
We arrived to the hotel late and very tired, the room was clean but disappointed to have the disabled bathroom with the toilet to tight to the wall to sit comfortably. There was a a strange clicking noise in the room , it stopped and start all through the night. Everytime we thought right I am complaining it would stop. In the morning I was asked how my stay was a I replied awful but no one seemed interested. I was going to call yourselves today to complain.

15 minutes to Exeter Racecourse

Posted 28-Jul-2014
Pros: The breakfast was excellent! Freshly cooked food was being topped up all the time - table clearing good - croissants were delicious!
Cons: Although the sign in the room said feel free to ask for more tea and coffee, the room supply was rather limited!
Location: It was ideal for us... we had to work at an event nearby, so just stayed before and after... didn't do any sightseeing.
As a stop over before and after an event at the racecourse it was ideal. The twin room was ready and all facilities worked well. Very quiet night - despite a coachload of Japanese tourists and a ladies' cricket team...
