Great hotel

Posted 29-Sep-2014
Pros: Clean, nice decor, friendly staff, comfortable beds, nice bathroom.
Cons: Better signposting to the hotel.
Location: Convenient location.
We are a family of 4 and stayed one night in the hotel, we were all very impressed with overall standard of the hotel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and tidy, the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was of a good standard. The only negatives were it was difficult to find and unfortunately the oven broke down half way through service so it took a long time to get hot food. Apart from that we would all highly recommend this hotel.

Very close and convenient to airport

Posted 17-Sep-2014
Cons: Directions on the website. Hotel postal code is not enough. GPS will only locate it if it actually is in the database.
Nice place to stay if you have an early flight. Within walking distance of the airport terminal. Make sure you have solid directions if you are not familiar with the area. The website gives the postal code, but not very clear directions. A complete address to the hotel would have been useful.

Good price; great hotel

Posted 12-Sep-2014
Pros: Almost all of it, apart from the breakfast free-for-all
Cons: Keeping the supplies for breakfast topped up. What staff there was seemed to be struggling to keep up.
Excellent receptionist changed our room (no queen doubles available on Expedia, only twin double). Receptionist checked & changed us to a queen double - brilliant - thank you. Lovely room & facilities. Breakfast chaotic with people everywhere in a confined self service space. Frequently running out of bread/milk/hot items. Sausages lovely that said.

Located on the outskirts of Exeter, with good traffic links. A friendly hotel which was very reasonably priced.

The access to the hotel was difficult

Posted 23-Aug-2014
Access to hotel not indicated on the website. It was down a country roar and poorly signposted. The breakfast was mediocre to poor.

Great hotel, convenient for airport

Posted 15-Aug-2014
Pros: Well maintained and comfortable rooms
Cons: A breakfast option for those catching early flights - we had to leave at 5am and so couldn't have breakfast.
Location: Very close to the airport, but need to travel 10-15 minutes to find a bigger range of eating places.
Stayed for the night before flying out. Room was very comfortable for us and two kids, and good value. The only thing that caught us out was the Sat Nav sending us down the dual carriageway instead of through the lane to the hotel.

Nice but difficult to find

Posted 12-Aug-2014
Pros: It's new and very clean.
Cons: Better organization for breakfast.
Location: Useful for who arrives or leaves by plane.
It was very difficult for us to find it because there is no signal and we tried all the exits of the airport roundabout to get the right way. Once arrived we have been welcomed by a very nice receptionist who told us that the lift was out of order. Our luggage was very heavy and so we have been a bit disappointed. In a case like this I would have expected some help from a waiter, but didn't see anyone. The room was a twin, not large enough but nice, with everything we needed, also an iron, not the small one you usually find in these places, but of a normal size, with the ironing table. The bathroom was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was terribly cahotic, a self service with a lot of people, the large part of which seemed hungry like the wolves. I couldn't make coffee and spent 5 min to find a knife.
