Excellant stop for airport

Posted 03-Dec-2014
Pros: great hotel
We arrived at 12.30am!! flight was delayed!! received a great welcome reception said any problems he was just at the end of the phone. Room lovely, we had a family room and the sofa bed was already made up for us. Although by a busy road and an airport not noisy at all!! Breakfast was very good and you can have as much as you like. would love to stay again if flying from exeter or if just visiting the area. we caught a bus from the airport (ten min walk) into town

Exellent value hotel next to Exeter airport

Posted 17-Nov-2014
We arrived very late but received a good welcome by the front desk staff. The sofa bed was made up ready for our daughter which hasn't always been the case in other hotels. Very good breakfast :) We can't fault the hotel, especially for the price paid.

The Staff were very helpful

Posted 08-Nov-2014
Pros: Staff
Cons: Couldn't work out the air-con
Location: good location for the airport, just a 10 minute walk or the staff will organise a shuttle
The staff were very helpful and made our stay perfect, enjoyed our meal at Marco's, very comfortable room except that is was a little too hot and we couldnt seem to get the air-con to work, but otherwise very pleased.

Great location for airport!

Posted 03-Nov-2014
Arrived back early evening to Exeter airport from a trip to Dublin, hotel was accessible directly from the airport service road ( we used the antiques centre for parking £20 for 4 days parking ) it was a stones throw from there which was great. Hotel was excellent; clean, friendly staff, contemporary rooms, and breakfast included in the price (£52 for a family room). Only downside was restaurant next door was the only one available for a decent meal, and we couldn't get a table there unless we'd booked. Hotel did do light snacks but nothing more, so we had to drive elsewhere to eat. Other than that a good all round stay, I would use again as it's ideally situated for airport travel.

Great hotel not far from City sites

Posted 20-Oct-2014
Pros: Quality fittings, and bathroom products. Complimentary breakfast. Car parking on site.
Location: Great location for airport stopovers, and close to Exeter City for sightseeing.
Just a one night stopover, on a quick visit to Exeter. Great hotel - good quality fixture and fittings at reasonable price.

Great for a one night stay

Posted 03-Oct-2014
Pros: Cleanliness, breakfast, staff
Cons: not sure
Location: N/A
We stayed for one night on route to our final destination. We are a family of 4. The room was clean, the kids had to share the sofa bed but said it was comfy and the main bed was very comfortable. The only small issue with the sofa bed is the metal struts that stick out a little but once the kids knew they were there it didn't cause a problem. We ate in Marco's next door which was quite nice, the kids ate for free so that was a bonus. The breakfast was very good and we didn't need any lunch that day!! Overall it was a pleasant stay, friendly staff and we would use it again

Great hotel

Posted 29-Sep-2014
Pros: Clean, nice decor, friendly staff, comfortable beds, nice bathroom.
Cons: Better signposting to the hotel.
Location: Convenient location.
We are a family of 4 and stayed one night in the hotel, we were all very impressed with overall standard of the hotel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and tidy, the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was of a good standard. The only negatives were it was difficult to find and unfortunately the oven broke down half way through service so it took a long time to get hot food. Apart from that we would all highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely Hoel

Lovely hotel, great value for money. Location difficult to find not very well sign posted and access road not very good although it appears there may be some works going on to improve this. Definitely needs more signage. Hotel itself very comfortable, room lovely, everything you could ask for. Breakfast ok although a bit more selection on continental would be nice. All in all well worth a stay especially if using airport or, like us, leaving children at university.
