Pokey.

Room was very small. Location of hotel was difficult to find. There is nothing else around the hotel so you are restricted to eating there. In need of an upgrade.

Very nice hotel to stay

Posted 19-Apr-2015
Pros: Good value for money, have stayed in hotels twice the price but not as good. Easy to get out and about from.
Cons: Maybe air conditioning for the summer months.
Location: Easy to get every where from here.
Nice hotel to stay at. the staff are polite and friendly, rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable. The food is very nice too, overall a very nice place to stay.

Brilliant

Posted 15-Mar-2015
Pros: Everything apart from the our experience with the barman
Cons: A training course in British etiquette and politeness for the barman
Location: N/A - Business trip
Brilliant apart from a very rude barman. We arrived at 22:40, went through to the bar at 22:45 and the barman was already cashing up and refused to serve us. We went over the road to buy some fluids although this closed at 22:00. We asked the receptionist where we could purchase some water from, she came back a few minutes later and asked us to wait in the bar and the barman would get some water for us. We waited another 10 minutes whilst the barman continued to cash up without serving us. In the end a very embarrassed employee (not the barman) handed us two bottles of water.

Just the job

Posted 14-Mar-2015
Pros: In particular? The shower. Brilliant. (Sounds weird, but true). And the staff.
Cons: Slightly bigger room,
Location: No idea. I just went there for a family get together in a nearby village.
Simple, nothing too much trouble, comfortable, easy-going. NB - if you're staying there, don't go to the nearby hotel (Gissings) to eat. The food is foul. I can't comment on the quality of their accommodation, though: it may be great.

Nice standard hotel

Posted 19-Feb-2015
Good quality for a standard hotel. Good price, easy access to Exeter, good refurbished rooms. Breakfast has a good selection but the cooked part of it was very average!

Short Business Trip to Exeter

Posted 01-Feb-2015 on Hotels.com
The hotel served its purpose as an overnight stop. The weather was wet and sleety, so the fact that the room blocks are located outdoors from the reception and bar, motel style, was not ideal.
