“Very good value for money.”

This is a lovely, well kept hotel with friendly and helpful owners. My room was comfortable and bright. The cleanliness is beyond reproach. Breakfast is generous and nicely prepared. Tea and coffee making facilities are replenished every day. The hotel is a little away from the seafront but is in a great location for train and bus services. Torre train station is 100 yards away. The coastal bus service no 12 stops right outside and is very handy. I had a peaceful and relaxing stay, I found the hotel was nice and quiet at nighttime.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean and tidy and well equipped for my needs. The location was great as it was a short walk to the sea front and main attractions of Torquay.

This is a very nice family run B&B with the proprieters ensuring that everything is to your satisfaction even down to your individual likes/dislikes for your breakfast. I would not hesitate to recommend this B&B to my friends and also use again when I am in the area.

The Ashwood Grange Hotel deserves far more than its 4 star rating. Throughout our stay, Claire and Stuart made us feel incredibly welcome with a level of dedication that made us feel as though we were the only guests when in fact the hotel was full! The facilities were exceptionally clean and our every need was catered to. There was a range of breakfast options and the cooked breakfast was delicious, promptly served and served with a smile. We would definitely stay at this hotel again. The personal touches really made it a home away from home.

This charming Hotel is located within 5 minutes walk from Torre railway station. The room was adequately furnished and included TV, hairdryer and tea / coffee making facilities together with a very warm and comfortable bed. The Hotel Manager was welcomng and made my stay enjoyable. The full english breakfast was exceptional. The duining room was pleasant and spacious. I would highly recommend this Hotel.

“Traditional English B and B but Friendly and reliable”

Traditional English B and B with a good dose of warm friendliness and desire to be helpful on part of owners. Accomodation wouldn't win any awards for interior design or stylish decor. However, the hotel / room en-suite very clean and very comfortable. Slight criticism: Whilst obvioulsy doing their best to attend and serve breakfast to all residents - breakfast was very slow in terms of service. Don't think the hotel has any staff beyond the owners but they could do with some additional staff at breakfast time.
