A well located hotel for Bude, Hartland, Westward Ho and Bideford. Rooms are in character with the old world style of the Inn and are very comfortable. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. Plenty of space at the Inn to relax both inside and out, and a friendly and cosy bar for an evening drink.

This is a great place to stay in Torquay. We were met with a lovely warm welcome from the owners who made us feel very welcome from the start. The room was immaculate and nicely decorated. Breakfast was delicious and the owners couldn't do enough for us and our 1 year old. We will definitely be returning.

Fantastic hotel, in a perfect location, 5-10 mins away from the beach, and restaurants.
The owners of the hotel greeted us with a warm and friendly service, we were given tea and coffee, whilst they gave us information about the hotel and its attractions, we were even presented with a list of the best restaurant to visit.
Breakfast were delicious nothing was too much to ask for. Hotel very clean and well presented.

We have visited this hotel previously and had a good experience so our expectations were quite high and I have to say they were met. We had a lovely lady at check in, a lovely ground floor room with patio doors onto our own patio. We ate at the restaurant - excellent food as per the previous visit.
Staff were all exceptionally pleasant and accommodating, it is refreshing to find such a well run place.

This was our first visit to Torquay and our first visit to a non-chain hotel. We chose this hotel on previous reviews and were not disappointed. The grounds of the hotel are well kept and picturesque, the inside of the hotel was just as well decorated and clean and tidy. The staff were very helpful and our room was comfortable and clean. The area around the hotel was nice and quiet which allowed for a peaceful nights sleep. In the morning the staff were very freindly and attentive with a good selection for breakfast including a cooked breakfast which was consistantly good throughout our stay. During our stay we availed ourselves of the bar for a night-cap and again the staff were very freindly and helpful. The staff were very helpful in suggesting places to visit and walks which were not dissapointing. The hotel is a very short walk to the sea front just be aware that the hotel is on a hill, we were aware of this before we went from the previous reviews. I can safely say that we will be returning to Torquay and this hotel.

Upon arrival we received a warm welcome, even though we arrived two hours early. The was not a problem, and were given the key so we could go off and and come back when we wanted. We were shown around. The rooms are of an excellent standard and are of good taste. with nice touches of a welcome tipple.
Breakfast was a fantastic spread, in fact i found it hard to choose wanted i wanted from the buffet table and the full English was great.
It was overall a lovely place, and we hope to go back very soon.
Thank you Meadfoot Bay hotel
