Ideal for what we needed. Owners friendly and accommodating. Room clean. Close to wetherspoons and a good curry house. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choices
Hosts Sue and Chris were brilliant, room was perfect with ensuite and a huge king size bed, breakfast was perfect and freshly cooked to order, close to town and dining facilities and perfect location for our trip
A lovely family run guest house. Nice cooked breakfast in the morning with fresh ingredients. Comfortable rooms and beautiful historical surroundings. Highly recommend.
Good overnight stay. Very warm friendly welcome, and excellent value for money. Bathroom a bit tired but fully functional and clean. Nice plentiful breakfast. Would stay again.
There was a warm welcome on arrival with tea and coffee making facility in the room. A nice comfortable bed in quiet room facing the car park. Breakfast was excellent with full English or other choices. Our room had shared bathroom but not an issue.
Walking distance to main sites and places to eat.
Stayed for 3 nights with work and no complaints at all.... quiet, clean and comfy rooms with parking. Had to leave before breakfast was served so was given a tasty lunch bag .... highly recommend and when in the area again I’ll be looking to book again..... great service 👍
This is one, if not the one, of the best B&B we stayed in. Everything there is great: location is very good and easy to find, it's easy to park, Chris (the owner) was very kind, rooms are great and very clean, breakfast choice is very good and food is really good. I cannot recommended more, do not go anywhere else.
Very good value for your money. Chris, the host, was very attentive to our needs. The place is clean, but small. (What do you expect when the house is historic)
Friendly reception from the hosts, lovely and warm on arrival on a cold wet day. Great advise on local places to eat. Breakfast was lovely, everything we needed was laid on and any extra requirements catered for. Homemade jams were beautiful and all locally sourced produce
When we arrived we were treated by a smiling happy gent and he was lovely! The room was spacious and very clean we had a private bathroom next door which was large and clean also, my partner loved the complimentary lemon drizzle cake! We missed breakfast due to my partner working late but everything was great! Would definitely recommend and stay again they deserved to win the four in a bed :) very happy!
We had a wonderful stay at the Angel Guest House. The owners are super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very yummy too! Beds were comfy. Large bathroom. Nice and quiet. Tiverton was a cute little town.
Location good, excellent food, great hosts and a very comfy bed. Maybe the room was a bit small not much storage space but who needs a big room if your only staying for a few nights
Parking good only 2.50 a day. Also there was chocolate brownies etc left for the guests each night in the hall.

Shower tray filling up with water. Fridge balanced on shelf overall could do with a facelift. Friendly staff though!
Very friendly hosts, nice rooms, central location.

Great welcome from Chris on arrival. Room was clean and comfortable. Probably good idea to bring extension if you need to charge phone and tablet as lack of sockets in room.
Took advantage of parking for £2.50 a day. Well worth it for peace of mind and convenience as street parking was always busy. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Ideal spot for exploring Devon, I recommend the Angel. Not for those who are unable to climb stairs though.
The host were very kind, waited for me to do the checking that was outside the checking times.
Breakfast very fast and nice, they come straight away once you enter in the room for breakfast.
Room very clean and tidy, amenities include kettle, teas, bathrope and 2 towels. I had the room who has private bathroom outside the room, was literally next to the room, the only thing was the shower was difficult to regulate.
I will come back if I have to go for meetings there.
The co-owner Chris Hollliday, met us with a warm welcome and showed us to our room, explaining the facilities as we went. The room was comfortable and clean.
The breakfast was brought to us by the other co-owner Sue Holliday, who was most attentive, ensuring that we had whatever we required, offering alternatives, if we required them.
Overall, a very pleasant stay in this small but perfectly adequate bed and breakfast guesthouse.
Lovely guest house, lovely couple and lovely food. There are a couple of bits of paint coming off and the loo seat was a bit loose but nothing major that would put me off of coming back again. The 4 poster bed made it a great treat to have a night away!
