Stayed 3 nights, pleasantly surprised, will definitively stay again

“Good Location For The Price”

The best thing about this hotel is it's proximity to the Ambassador Bridge. We were heading to the USA the next morning, so it was a convenient location. The surrounding neighbourhood is not very inviting. There are houses boarded up on both sides of the road leading to the hotel, which gives a very ominous feel. This has nothing to do with the hotel as the front desk clerk indicated that a new overpass to the bridge was being constructed. In this day and age, I don't think any multi-level hotel worth its value should not have an elevator. We were on the second floor, so we had to carry luggage upstairs. I believe this is where they put all the people that get discounted rooms. It was a nice, clean place to spend the night, but nothing more.

Exterior of hotel was in better condition than interior. I assume the renos were not completed. Met our basic needs.

“Not a bad stay”

The air conditioning didn't work in the room. It was a tad bit worm....but the hotel was nice. Windsor is great.

“Basics at a bargain - BUT...”

Everything was OK - but for the fact that the bathroom had an pungent odor that crept into the main room. I couldn't pinpoint it except the shower curtain was very mildewy. I asked the desk clerk for some lysol-type spray and he just grabbed some industrial thingy, came up to the room and randomly sprayed the corners before saying "that ought to do it." Communication failure, it would seem. My guess is they knew full well but were waiting for it to go away or i don't know... perhaps a prior guest smoked in the bathroom and they didn't want to pay the expense to really clean it (it was a non-smoking room). ALL THAT SAID IT WAS CHEAP + ENTIRELY SANITARY and they were perfectly nice. You can get a 10% discount and free appetizer from the nearby Applebees.

“Had better for less!!!”

Not impressed with the room, but was better than some of the other places in the area.

“Reasonable price/quality motel! Worth a try!”

This is a good value motel. One cannot expect it to be a 5 (or 4 or even 3) star hotel but it is a decent, reasonable hotel. Breakfast was quite (really!) basic but better than nothing! One additional good point: it is close to Applebees, meaning you can have there dinner (or breakfast) and don't need to take a car! For similar requirements I would be back.

“USA borders motel”

Its a huge motel near The USA tunel, and bridge. Not bad at all , modest breakfast . good parking .

“You get what you pay for...”

So here I go: 1) Located beside a petro 2) Room is clean 3) Working appliances 4) The breakfast bar has cereal, bread, milk, orange juice, butter and jam. Looks a lot bigger on the picture, the counter space is very small. 5) The room looked outdated and the comforters need to be replaced. Overall you pay for what you get.

“DONT SPEND YOUR MONEY AT THIS HOTEL”

The service and the staff were bad... And the hotel was not clean at all
