“I Would Stay Again”

Hotel was excellent. Exercise room, laundry room were in great shape. No evidence of smoking which is important to me. No stale smell. Breakfast was good, but the Turkey Sausage was terrible. Sometimes the food was cold when I went down 1 and 1/2 hours after opening for breakfast. Room didn't have extra sheets for pulll out bed. This was fix when I called the desk. Normally, these minor irritations could sway ratings. However, the staff was great, the room was extra clean and the place was quiet.

Area recommendations
I was born in the Detroit Area. Henry Ford Muesum, Casinos in Detroit and Green Field Village. Henry Ford and Green Field Village for historical purposes and casino to un-wind.

“I will Return!”

The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful!! The hotel was awesome and I loved the decorations! The room was gorgeous, very clean, and so comfortable! What we got for the price we payed was amazing!! I will definitely be going back and suggesting it to my hotel!

You should see the Henry Ford Museum while you are in the area, it is amazing!

“Glad the walls weren't too thin!”

The room was nice. The decor was "IKEA" - like but charming. The only problem was some people were using the hotel for partying purposes and were very loud in the hallways. But, after they went into their rooms, the noise lessened due to the walls being thick enough to absorb the noise.

“Airport Friendly Hotel”

This hotel was clean & modern. The staff was very helpful setting up the shuttle for us to the airport. Our room was spacious and very comfortable! We would recommend Spring Hill Suites to others.

“Detroit Airport”

Very convenient to DTW. Very reasonable rates. Great continental breakfast with some hot items. Room design is great.

“Will definitely return.”

My hotel experience was good. I had a bad experience with the Thrifty Car Rental at the Detriot Airport location. The agent was very rude and unfriendly. She did not inform us their pre-inspection procedures when we got the assigned rental car. The first car given had its engine light on which required a replacement car. The whole process of this check-in took almost two hours. I would not recommend doing business with this rental agency again.

Area recommendations
Detriot is a very depressed area. High crime rates and full of abandoned properties. I did not feel safe driving around the area and its neighboring towns. I recommend others to see the Ford Museum and visit Windsor, Ont. as a side trip for the day. I spent a whole day in Windsor, Ont at the casino and watched a show in the evening.

“Great Hotel by Airport”

Very comfortable hotel within minutes of airport. The thing I liked the most was this hotel was very modern and room had many environmentally friendly ammenities. The building materials were environmentally friendly materials and you had to use your key in order to keep the electricity on. Very modern room layout. I would definitely stay here again.
