“Too run-down”
I picked Red Roof Inn because it is a big hotel chain that has been around for decades. I expected an "ok" condision, but it's worse than that. The TV remote doesn't work; alarm clock was broken; bathroom door doesn't shut; ceiling fan doesn't work; bath towels are too old; sheets don't feel clean; breakfast is terrible. The location near airport is a bad choice. The Checker cab doesn't go there. I got ripped off - charged double rate, by the cab that the hotel called.
“It ain't the Hilton, but it is comfortable and clean!”
At the time of my stay, there was construction going on. It did not disturb our stay. The room was clean and the beds very comfortable.
“Will stay at this hotel again”
The staff was very nice and the beds changed daily and clean.
“we can't go back”
room was soo small. no microwave, very very poor breakfast, room services were very poor
“Decent, but can find better”
I perfer budget hotels and rarely complain. This place was decent, however you can find better places for a similar price on the same block (like Baymont Inn). Main complaint is that I woke up one morning to a few ants being in bed with me. But, I would stay here again, especially at the price I got. Only if other hotels were booked, though.
“Clean, quiet and safe! All we wanted!”
We only stayed here from 1AM until 10AM, but it was everything we needed--a quiet, clean, and safe place to stay the night. It was all we wanted and needed.
“I'll go back again”
Good hotel
“Good price overnight hotel for plane connections.”
Hotel is located 5 minutes from the airport, I would say courtesy shuttle takes too long to pick up people at the airpor and it got full when we tried to board it, so we had to wait other 20 min for the next one. We had a good night sleep after a long flight coming from Europe and going back home. The hotel was fine, staff fullfilled their job and breakfast was enough to wake you up and take an early flight.
“2+ Hour Wait for Airport Pick-Up”
Room not ready upon arrival. Two towel sets for 4 guests.Took an hour to gain internet access. Old model TV. This was a stay/fly reservation. Hotel did not answer phone for 2 hours when called for pick-up from airport. Finally called Red Roof 800# and Expedia. Expedia finally got through and hotel said shuttle would be there in 10 minutes, took closer to an hour. Hotel claims phone was left off the hook but phone rang, no busy signal!?! Said they'd take care of us next time but there won't be a next time.
“You get what you pay for”
The rates reflect the quality. If your looking for a one night stay an dont mind a little hair on the bed then this is the place. However, there is no guest computer to access the internet, dirty rooms, no dresser for your clothes just few hangers, and the continental breakfast is orange juice and stale mini muffins. Pay the extra few bucks and get a nice hotel.
