The guestrooms at Detroit Southfield Marriott have recently been renovated and now feature a crisp, modern look. All rooms have down duvets, as well as new furniture, carpeting, and artwork. Large desks, ergonomic chairs, and phones with voice mail are also provided. The hotel is entirely smoke-free.
Other complimentary amenities include TVs with extended cable and HBO. Upon check-in, guests can request Marriott's Wired for Business service, with high-speed Internet access and unlimited local and domestic long-distance calls for a daily fee.

“Great place to stay!”
I spent three nights at the Marriott Detroit Southfield and was very impressed with the hotel. The staff was very friendly and check-in was a breeze. Free internet would have been nice, but the free breakfasts you get every morning makes up for it. The beds are so comfortable, soft and clean. I will be staying here again on my next visit to Detroit.
“Great location to downtown”
Just far enough away, 15 miles, but close enough to get to Comerica and Ford field in 15 mins. Excellent breaksfast buffet. ONly criticism of trip was with Expedia. When I booked I clicked on room with free breakfast and this didn't get included.
“Very Satisfied”
After many years of staying at limited service hotels, it was nice to be back in a "real" one. Everyone there was very nice, especially the room service attendant. We had plenty of television channels to view, very comfortable beds, a coffeemaker and free internet/wifi. There was also a bottle of water provided. I will go back, especially if I can get another good rate.

We stayed here again and the stay was fantastic. The staff is superb. They treat you very well here and do their best to make your stay the best it can possibly be. This hotel is great!!!

My wife and I absolutely loved our stay here. The staff was probably the best we had ever encountered. The front desk staff was more than helpful from borrowing a corkscrew to giving us great tips on which neighborhood restaurants to visit. Martin from the restaurant was a complete gem. He looked after us from the moment we walked in. Absolute top-notch service from moment one. We would make no hesitation to book here again.
