“A very nice little hotel.”
It is a budget hotel so be advised that the default continental breakfast (included in price) is on the slim side.
Also, there is no wi-fi in the hotel and the only computer in the reception area is a bit under-powered.
The view from most of the rooms is not great: two parking lots.
Now on the plus side:
- we found a very clean room, bathroom and reception area.
- the furniture looks (or is) new.
- the staff is friendly and check-in / out process was quick.
- A/C, TV, fridge, coffee maker, bathroom faucets - were all in working order.
- the hotel looks nice on the outside as well.
- it's easy to find - big building with HOJO sign on the right-hand side of Ouelette Ave (driving north), shortly after the E.C. Row underpass.
- there's a 24 hours Tim Horton's twenty feet away - so you don't have to go hunting for food at night :)
- it's a 5 minutes drive from the downtown clubs and restaurants.
When I saw the price I had some initial concerns - about quality, but I nonetheless decided to give it a try. We were both (my wife and I) pleasantly surprised - as it's much better than other hotels in Windsor, at 60% of the prices we paid elsewhere.
And no, they didn't pay me for the review :)
