“Happy Camper”

This hotel had all of the desired amenities (comfortable mattress, good closet space, etc.)and some unexpected ones (complimentary microwave popcorn in the room & ceiling fans were new to me!). Good sushi place around the corner. HINT: It is a bit difficult to find at night -- call for land marks v. looking for Detroit's hard-to-find street signs.

The hotel staff are well trained and have a heart for customer service. We will stay there again when we next must travel to the Troy, Michigan area.

“Perfect place to stay for the weekend!”

My girlfriends and I spent the previous night at a place i would call a dump in comaprison to this place. The front desk was so friendly and even called up after we arrived to make sure we were happy with the room. The room itself was perfect. The kitchen had everything you needed, including a dishwasher! The bed was super compfortable, and the sofa bed wasn't bad either to sleep on. The room in total was super clean. Kind of reminded us of a small condo. Yes, the halls are long to walk - but at least the room was quiet and you didn't hear what was going on in the other rooms. Breakfast wasn't that impressive, just your typical continental breakfast. But one night we realized we didnt have milk, and the lady at the front desk got us some from the main kitchen for us. Not too far from a plaza with a Walmart, which we really appreciated. Overall, very impressed - will use again next shopping trip.

“Very Nice Place to Stay”

This hotel was very comfortable, and easily located, in the daylight. We have stayed in a similiar type of hotel before and I definately liked this one a little better. The area is quiet and secure. We didn't even notice the airport behind the hotel until we were leaving! Breakfast was excellent, nice variety and ample supply of items. Reception staff was friendly and pleasant. Having the shopping center right across the road was very convenient, nice variety of restaurants and shopping areas, nearby, also. It is a nice place for families, and there were a lot of them, but it was relatively quiet, all the same. Fitness center was nice, Pool was Cold!

“Great for long stays”

My husband and I only stayed one night for a wedding, but when we saw the room we were tempted to move in :) The room was huge and comfortable. The common areas were well kept, the breakfast was decent and they even had grills for guest use. We will definately choose Homewood again when we take our week long vacation next year.

“Simply Amazing”

Can't say enough good things about our recent stay. I will definitely seek out other Homewood Suites when planning trips. The room was very nice. Roomy and comfortable, nice touches like a bag of microwave popcorn. Was surprised that the suite even had a dishwasher. We enjoyed a complimentary dinner our first night, and it was outstanding, surprised to find a collection of beers and wine, included with the complimentary dinner. There was always something new at breakfast. All staff members were extremely helpful and polite. Our stay was very refreshing.

“Hidden Gem!”

I'll admit, I booked this hotel because of the low price, but boy was I surprised! The room was small, but very comfortable and nicely furnished. We barely noticed the airfield next door at all, despite my wife being a light sleeper. The kitchenette was even fully equipped with utensils! Not that you needed it for breakfast because the buffet was very well stocked. And if that's not enough, you're literally across the street from a large mall and walking distance to dozens of restaurants. My only negative experience was having trouble dialing out because the telephone instructions were wrong. In short, this is the sort of hotel I wouldn't mind spending a week or more in!
