“A pleasant experience”

We had a surprisingly pleasant experience, as this was our first time in Detroit and we were not sure what to expect. We found the people very friendly, helpful and courteous - everywhere we went. As we need to return to Detroit again for future visits, (probably yearly) we look forward to future visits there. One of the things that impressed us so much was how genuinely "nice" everyone was. The people even "drive" nice...which was extremely noticeable. Since we were unfamiliar with the highways surrounding Detroit and as we are from the Philadelphia, PA area (where people can be very rude while driving) it was a pleasant surprise to us to find Detroit such a nice place to visit!

“Would stay there again”

The hotel was clean, it was within a 4 minute drive to the Joe Louis arena. The valet service was extremely polite and friendly. The hotel staff assisted us with directions around the city and on places that were good to eat.

A new addition to downtown Detroit. Within walking distance of the Tigers and Lions Stadiums. Great service.

“A great stay.”

I was very glad that we pick this Hotel,it was very close to the Ford Field, and to everything else in the area. When we first checked in they gave a nonsmoking room, and I had asked for a smoking, so they ended up giving us a suite instead, for all the wait it was great. A very clean Hotel with valet parking.I would stay there again.

“Location, Location, Location!”

We stayed at the hotel during valentines day weekend and it was a wonderful stay. The staff was great the rooms were clean and very private. The location of the hotel was great. Its by the casino, by a number of great restaurants and by a bunch of places to grab a drink. It was great not having to take a taxi to get to places. The rooms are priced at a very reasonable rate. Recommended!!

“Detroit's Unexpected Gem!!”

Everyone we met was very friendly and helpful-all of the hotel desk clerks, breakfast resaurant staff, evening security man, and valet workers! Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffett at the hotel restaurant was delicious and had a large selection of foods to choose from. We enjoyed our stay and plan on returning!

it was a pleasant surprise, very clean and accomodating. safe and within 5-10 min walking distance from the fox theater.

I was pleased with the service I received from Hilton Garden Inn in Detroit MI. I would recommend this hotel to friends and realitives. It was very reasonable. The only suggestion I have is a shuttle to and from the downtown area.

The location of the Hilton Garden Inn was wonderful, we walked to everything! This is a hotel I would stay in over and over again. The hotel staff was wonderful including the valet parking guys. A must stay in Detroit.
