“great service, great location”

Some friends and I went to Detroit on January 2nd for a Bears-Lions game on the following day. The hotel staff was courteous, efficient, and very helpful, directing us to several food and entertainment venues in the immediate area. The rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable. The location was great: a short walk to the riverfront, the casino, and a number of restaurant choices. I would definitely stay again.

“Can;t wait to go back to Detroit”

We went for one night and I thought the room was awesome. The room was clean and I thought very much above average. The bathroom was the best part of the room. I have never stayed at a hotel that put the quality and space into a bathroom. The first shower head that I did not have to bend over backwards to get under. Enough space for 2 - 3 adults to use the sink and counter at the same time. When I go back to Detroit, I will be staying here again.

“Excellent Location”

This hotel is in the most excellent location in Detroit. The service is A #1 and the staff are so nice. We stayed here last year, this year and will stay again next year as well.

“Great Sleep”

The room was very nice and bathroom a good size. The bed was a great sleep and very comfortable.

“Great Hotel!”

From the moment we arrived, until the moment we left, we enjoyed our stay at the Courtyard Marriott in dowtown Detriot. Our room was lovely, the staff were incredibly friendly, and it is in a great location, as the People Mover has a stop at the hotel.

“Would Return with No Doubt”

Courtyard By Marriott was a Great Place to stay. Staff, Hotel, and Amenities were outstanding. Made my 4-day trip very memorable. The only "complaint" would have been a bed that was a just a little too soft for me. But that was not enough to spoil the Comfort I felt with my room. Would definitely consider staying there again!!!

“Deinitely staying here again!!!”

I came to the D for the Lions home opener against the Eagles and to catc a couple Tigers games as well. Super friendly and helpful staff, everything was very clean, the room was big and very nice. This hotel is within walking distance to either Ford Field or Comerica Park. Anywhere else you need to go is a short cab ride away. Location is great, very safe area, lots of security at night. Its a very safe part of downtown. I plan on coming back next year for the Lions home opener and will definitely stay here again. The breakfast buffet is good and the couple dinners I had were very good as well. This was hands down a 5 out of 5!

“Great hotel, except for parking.”

Fantastic service, warm, polite and friendly, ready to help. Very nice hotel, food was great also. Valet parking great, but access to car is convoluted when walking to parking. (down hall, elevator, another hall, another elevator, outside, in parking garage)

“Within walking distance to business locations for me”

The room had two large queen size beds. They were very comfortable. I had a business meeting the next day, so I needed a good night's sleep. You could smell the clean pillows when you placed your head on them. I slept like a baby. Very helpful and friendly staff at the Marriott also.

“Downtown Detroit's Best Value”

Excellent value! The Hotel as well as the People Mover are located in the Millendar Center which makes it very convenient to hit all the sports arenas or casinos.
