“Convenient airport access”

The front desk staff was courteous. When I mentioned that someone in the parking lot left their car lights on they promptly made an attempt to notify the owner. I appreciated that since I know others make take a "not my problem" attitude.

“Great hotel. Just a little noise”

I needed to get up at 3AM to unplug the refrigerator because it was making a lot of noise every time it started up..... At the same time, people next door did not let me sleep due to the noise.... Besides this, the hotel look and service was great

“Disappointed”

The stairway to the first room that they put me in was covered in debris, and furniture was strewn around. Perhaps they were planning to change the carpet, as it looked like they were in the process of doing downstairs. The first room was small and adjoining a fussy baby. I had not arrived until after midnight of a weekday, and could hear every word from the people in the next room, though they were not speaking loudly. Once I located the difficult to find light switches, I was greeted with burns on the counter. Next I was given a key to a room which was occupied. The final room was chilly but comfortable. And the continental breakfast was nice.

“Served its purpose”

We only stayed here so we could do a Park and Ride, but then found out you can't keep your car on their lot over 7 days and we had 8. They did give us a voucher for the 7 days however, and the parking lot we had to use was very close by. The bathroom was quite clean but the rest of the room could definitely use some help. We could smell cigarette smoking in the hallway as well.

Area recommendations

We used the hotel to fly out of Detroit airport to Florida. Did not stay in city.

“excellent value for the money”

We arrived after a late night flight so just needed a place to sleep, ahower and eat breakfast before driving to Ontario the next morning. Clean room, decent breakfast, Good value

“Great Hotel for the price”

We flew out of Detroit Metro and chose to stay at the Best Western the night before our departure. The staff was very friendly & our room was nice, clean & the bed was very comfortable (I hate hard beds!) There was a small refrigerator and microwave in the room also. We chose to use their park & fly option instead of trying to park at the airport which was really convenient. The shuttle runs every 30 minutes & had us over to the airport in plenty of time to check in and get thru security. When we fly out of Detroit again we will definitely do the same thing. Thank you to the staff for making our vacation even better.

“Exceeded expectations”

Nice place to overnight en route to the airport. For its age, it is impressively clean and tidy. My only complaint is that the lower plant rooms (in one of which I stayed) are separated from an inner open area just by a glass door, through which some light, and noise, seep in. It seems that measures should be taken to minimize these two things at late night (especially the noise). Overall, though, was a great stay at a convenient location.
