I would highly recommend the Hotel Contessa to anyone. The hotel was beautiful, the room excellent, and the location perfect; the Riverwalk was just a few feet outside of the lower lobby/restaurant and the Market, The Alamo, Ripley's, and many other destinations were only a few short blocks away. The staff and services were very friendly and efficient. Check-in and Check-out were a breeze; they even held our luggage/car for a couple extra hours after check-out so that we could continue to see the sights. I cannot imagine having had a better experience.

One of the best hotels we have stayed at in years. Very nice rooms, friendliest and most helpful staff I have seen. Their in-house restaurant, Las Canarias, is truly tremendous for both breakfast and diner. Great location directly on the River Walk. We will definitely stay at the Omni La Mansion when we return to San Antonio.

We stayed her for our anniversary and honestly, couldn't have changed a single thing for the better. The staff was lovely, the room was beautiful with great views (17th floor), and was clean and posh. This is also I think the best shower experience in a hotel we've had too; it is a huge pet peeve of mine when hotels have wimpy little shower heads with little to no pressure, or the nozzle sprays everywhere but where you need it. A small thing, but makes a big difference. We would absolutely stay here again.

Very friendly staff. Very clean in every area we went into. We asked for high floor to avoid street noise. Stayed on 20th floor. Thought that we were the only people on the floor. Quiet as can be. We heard no one at all. Large spacious rooms and wonderful beds Will stay here every time we visit Dallas, Texas.

The hotel is conveniently located downtown within walking distance to lots of bars and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The hotel is clean, tastefully decorated, and has plenty of things to do on site. There is a daily happy hour where guests receive 2 complementary drinks before happy hour prices kick in. They also have nighttime milk and cookies. The bar is lively and well stocked and there is a pool table tucked away in an adjoining room. The food served is very good and moderately priced. The free breakfast is good, not great, only because there is a limited selection and it doesn't change daily. The room that we stayed in this time was very dark and tucked away. We were a little upset about this at first but it turned out to be just what we needed. It was super quiet and easy to sleep with the lack of outside lighting. Checkout was a breeze but we were disappointed with the valet service at checkout. They advertised that there is no calling ahead on Sundays, but when we went down there were 6 cars waiting there that all called ahead and we had to wait 15 minutes for our car. Aside from that instance, the valet guys were very nice and even fetched something out of the car for me that I had forgotten. There was also a little cafe just outside of the hotel entrance that has great sandwiches, cheesecake and coffee, in addition to random things that hotel goers typically forget and was open until 1am. Great place to stay!
