Hotels in Sint Eustatius and Saba

Great hotel and accommodations for divers/snorkelers. Hotel reef is absolutely stellar.

Buddy Dive is a great place to stay for divers. They have multiple boats that go out each day which allow for plenty of boat dives. Their packages also include unlimited shore diving which is nice. The house reef is one of the best so it is nice an convenient. The fact they don't charge extra for Nitrox is a nice little savings also. The on site bar is nice and fast to get good food for lunch between boat dives. They don't have a huge variety but what they have is pretty good.

Sonrisa certainly lived up to its reputation of being the #1 hotel in town. This small, safe, hotel is a beauty & within a short walking distance of grocery stores, downtown & small beach areas for diving or snorkeling. Jackie, the owner, and her staff are delightful, friendly, and very helpful. Jackie warmly welcomed guests, shared useful information about the island and assisted in making arrangements. Our basic style room was great & all we needed - clean, tastefully decorated and quite spacious. The mature garden & saline pool area is exquisite. In the garden you will certainly see the 2 pairs of beautiful, camera shy, green parrots who reside under the roof tiles. Each morning in the palapa coffee & a light fresh breakfast is offered (a bun with meat, yogurt, fruit, sweets, and granola). Several times, we took advantage of the guest BBQ & bought salads, meat, and vegetables to enjoy “dinner in” a few times. Guests in the basic room who want to BBQ should bring plastic plates, knives, forks, spoons and sml. paring knife. We stayed at Sonrisa from March 19-29. 2013 & loved it. Bottom line, we highly recommend this wonderful, small conveniently located European/Caribbean style Boutique. Thank you Jackie and Nim for making our much needed vacation very special!
