"Great location near station and main attractions"
We had only a day and a half to get the flavor of Edinburgh so it we chose this hotel based on its location a few minutes walk away from the Waverly train station and the main Edinburgh old town attractions. It was excellent. We were at the hotel within 10 minutes of stepping off the train and were able to walk to all the things we need to see.

    "definitely recommend"
I travel every week for work and it is rare that I am made to feel so comfortable and at home in a hotel. The service was excellent at reception and in the bar/restaurant. My room was spotless and the bed extremely comfortable. There was a great atmosphere in the bar during the evening, very relaxing and welcoming, a nice place to spend time.

"One night stay for concert at Hamden Park stadium."
Hotel was nicely situated. Staff excellent, we were a little early for 2pm check in, so we're provided coffee, storage for luggage, and we sat in the adjoining bar. Rooms was clean and comfortable, bathroom a little small..... But not important. Breakfast excellent, full Scottish, cereals, yoghurts, fruit juice tea and coffee. Cocktails in the bar, Sunday to Thursday £3.50 and were really nice. Easy check in and out. Staff very friendly and helpful. No issues at all, would happily stay again.

Very pleasant stay and good breakfast. The only criticism I have is being unable to get an evening meal in the adjoining pub. There is a fish and chip shop nearby but food wasn't very nice.
