    "Fantastic place to stay"
We stayed for four night in a delux double room. Turned out to be a loft type room with fantastic views of the city, castle and river. Staff were always helpful with tourist type questions or anything for that matter. We ate out a lot and found the best value for money to be Pep and Fodder for breakfast each day (turn right at the hotel exit and it is about 4 shops down on the same side of the street) a good breakfast for two was just over 10 pound, excellent daytime eatery. We also had a couple of dinners at Martone - on the corner just down from the Pep and Fodder. Again you can get good meals for two from between 20 and 30 pound. Both breakfast and dinner costs included drinks. Although the hotel menu looked good, for a longer stay it could be expensive. One tip: you have to try the raspberry, mascarpone and balsamic ice cream from Martone, it is heaven.

    "Wonderful overnight stay"
We stayed the night at citizenM in Glasgow after travelling to see a comes gig, choosing the venue for being a bit different to anything we have ever stayed in before. Admittedly I didn't know what to expect when we arrived, but throughout our stay we were constantly suprised. The booking process is a self service checkin on a computer which is incredibly simple to use and had plenty of staff at hand to help. A girl by the name of Joanna was very helpful and pleasant in welcoming us and identifying places to go in the area. The room itself was a small but perfectly functional and comfortable room with an amazingly big bed and duvet (for once I didn't have to fight my wife for a share of the covers!). Everything in the room is controlled by a tablet, so from the comfort of your bed you can control the tv, blinds, lighting, films, radio and alarm which was very exciting for a techy geek like myself. A nice touch was the addition of free to watch movies on demand, ideal when we got in from our night out. The lobby and sitting areas were wonderfully decorated with large comfortable seating, with each area being very quiet and comfortable. Hotel was within walking reach of the town centre and all its amenities. The only downside was there was no free parking. We used a local council car park on Cambridge st. If you present your ticket to staff they stamp it so you only pay a flat rate of £12 to park rather Tha the £21 advertised at the car park. Wonderful comfortable hot

A one night mid week stay - and a real treat. Loved the breakfast - hot buffet was so tasty - and set me up for the day.
