Hotels in Scotland

Right in the center of things to do in Edinburgh with easy access to Waverly Train station. Hotel staff was exceptional! They even handled a unique request and did all the internet searches complete with maps & times to attend a special meeting. You wouldn't be disappointed choosing this hotel. Breakfast was plentiful and an excellent way to start the day. I can not say enough good things about these employees and hotel.

The George hotel is located in a very pretty area near all the local attractions and great restaurants. The staff was very helpful with any questions and went out of their way to be helpful. I had an executive King room. The bed was very comfortable and we had plenty of towels etc. Breakfast was very good with plenty of selections. Great coffee! :) My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and we had a lovely cake waiting for us with delicious chocolates and chocolate covered strawberries. We booked the "Treat your partner package".

Excellent just what was needed. There are far too many plastic hotels about where you could be anywhere. This had character and opulence.

Very good hotel, would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the city centre. Extremely cool gadgets in the room, the staff are very helpful and a great location. A street up from the main street in Glasgow, but still quiet enough that there's no bother. Good prices, overall will definitely go back!

The only regret I have from staying at Skene House - Rosemount is that I did not stay longer! What an amazing place to stay! I stayed at the hotel over the weekend (7th - 9th of June 2013). I had initially booked for the Executive Suite but I was upgraded by the hotel staff to a Superior Suite! - Thank you!! As soon as I got to the hotel my boyfriend and I were impressed. The staff are just from out of this world as they offer a quick, polite, professional and friendly service! When we entered our Suite, it was spotless and immaculate. Contemporary deco and spacious. Everything was very clean - my boyfriend and I didn't want to leave that we asked for an extended check-out time! Very quiet and private accommodation. The breakfast buffet was formidable as there were a fresh variety of food to choose from. Thank you to Skene House Management and keep up the great level standard. Thank you also to Concierge Dandas who readily respond to our call-out twice, you are a star! A (better for some) home away from home. By a million miles far better than any 5 star Hotel room you can afford. I would VERY HIGHLY recommend anyone to stay there, great for single travellers, families or couples. Great value for money! I will be visiting Skene House Rosemount Aberdeen soon during my future & frequent visits to Abderdeen. All thumbs up from me. From Suite 202 visitor

Great location, contemporary clean & welcoming hotel at a very affordable price we would definitely recommend this Hotel. If you are not a club reveller then ensure your room is not road facing or if it is make sure your are high up as it got quite noisy when the clubs kicked out
