Hotels in Haute-Savoie

Superior room was beautiful, spacious room with a corner balcony. Nice staff at desk. Very pleasant three-day stay in great location next to train station and Old Town.

Great hotel, one where the experience is better than the pictures. The hotel is on a small promontory straight on to Lake Annecy, there is a public beach nearby and some lovely gardens. The hotel is some distance from the picturesque part of Annecy, so takes 10-15 minutes to walk in, but this is no hardship as the walk is along the side of the lake on a good path (wheelchair friendly). There are a couple of downsides - the garden to the right of the hotel looked more like a fallow veg patch and the casino is more of a slot machine type casino, but it has it's own entrance and doesn't detract. All in all, thoroughly recommend!

close to train, bus lake, attraction in Annecy. There is a superstore 'SPAR' to the right to the hotel where u can buy water and basic stuff cheaper than other shops do check there timmings.

I stayed at this "hotel" because I booked a late flight to Geneva to go Skiing between christmas and new year. All the accomodation in the ski resorts were either full or very expensive. We booked this as it slept 4 and is really a block of flats with studio rooms to rent. There are no hotel services, but the rooms are clean and spacious with a small kitchen and spacious balcony. Be warned the apartments have been buit next to the railway line and trains do rumble past between 6am to 10pm. Light sleepers may be affected. This didn't bother me but lack of reception outside of 9am to 4pm did. If you want to ski Morzine is only 40 mins drive away. The town itself is small with a few restuarants and bars nearby.Overall for the price good value for money but be warned it is not a hotel.

The bathroom was pretty tired - the shower screen leaked water all over the floor and there was a hole in the wall where the sink surface met the wall, as a result of water. Otherwise, quite willing staff and not badly situated. The food was ok too.

Hotel was to far from town. No transportation to town except taxi which is over 15 euros (depending on driver) Staff was excellent and very helpful. Good choice if you have a car.
