This is my go-to hotel for coming to Des Moines for work. It has really nice rooms with great amenities. The hotel staff are wonderful and run a tight ship.

The outside parking area is very sketchy. After getting our room keys, we started walking down the hallway and metn2 prostitutes. The hallways were dirty and narrow. The maintenance man needsnto figure out how to patch up the holes, scuffs, and scratches on the wall. The carpet in the room was dirty and had a seam that was torn. The pictures for sure show a polished turd. The front desk lady actually made a comment about the cost of the room being high due to supply and demand. I am not sure why anyone would ever stay here. I would never suggest staying in this dump to anyone.

I have stayed at the Hampton Inn on several occasions primarily because of its proximity to the airport. The beds were uncomfortable. The mattresses were lumpy and needed to be replaced. There were no facial tissues in the bathroom. The room seemed clean and quiet except for air traffic arriving at the airport.
