I've stayed at this hotel before and definitely won't hesitate to make it back. From the moment you walk in, they are there to greet and assist you. They gave us every piece of information and advice we could ask for. We were extremely happy with the shuttle service. They picked us up on a few different occasions. They were there on time and were very accommodating.

Very nice hotel. Will go back if we get to Des Moines again. The comp breakfast was fantastic, lots of different choices to pick from. The pool area was very nice also.

“Excellent Hotel”

Very well maintained hotel. Suites are big and clean. We liked the cooked to order omlette (as well as rest of the breakfast) and the happy hour feature. Only stayed there for one night so did not try their restaurant and pool. Check-in and check out were very efficient and there is a shuttle every 15 minutes that will take you anywhere in the two mile radius. We will certainly return in the future.

This hotel is on an excellent location close to the river, perfect if you are going to a concert at the amphitheater. It is a beautiful hotel with great rooms and amenities.

“Embassy Suites never disappoints”

Great location in downtown Des Moines. We were able to walked to dinner and local attractions easily. The hotel was lively but not loud and the breakfast is such an easy way to start the day. Glad we stayed there!

Enjoyed the Breakfast Buffet, especially the Western Omelets made by our favorite Chef, Wayne. Wayne is a great asset to the Embassy with his pleasing personality and getting the quests started on a "Positive Attitude".

We had a fabulouse room on the eigth floor overlooking the Des Moines River and skyline of downtown Des Moines. The room was very spacious and quiet. We did not hear any noise from neighboring rooms. The lobby, which is tastefully done, had conventions going on and we heard none of that as well. Our room was promptly cleaned for the 4 days we were there. The desk staff and breakfast buffet staff were friendly and helpful. Great breakfast buffet by the way, plus cooks for a specialty omelet. Although we did not have a chance to use the pool or health club, it was very clean and well maintained. Parking was not free. We opted for the outdoor parking across the street at $7.00 per day. We had no problems with safety of our auto. Parking in the lot was fine. I have friends coming to Des Moines for the fair in August and have highly recommended this hotel to them. We will definately stay here again.
