“We'll be back!!!”

This hotel was a great experience from beginning to end. Our room was spacious, very clean and had all the amenities. The desk personnel called within 15 minutes of our arrival in our room to see if we had any needs and if everything was ok. The breakfast buffet had a large variety of food, including fresh fruit, breakfast meats, and waffles. We never experienced any loud noise at any time. I would recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a pleasant, away from home experience while in Des Moines.

We were very pleased with our stay here. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. Check in was quick and easy. The indoor pool and hot tub were very large and clean. Regarding the continental breakfast, there were many choices. Waffles, eggs, sausage, oatmeal, bagels, pastries, etc. Overall a very nice place to stay. If we are in the area in the future, we will definitely be staying here again.

“My #1 Choice”

This was my second stay at this particular Country Inn & Suites. It is my first choice when traveling to Des Moines. They are very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast is exceptional and has a variety of breakfast items such as eggs benedict, waffles, muffins, oatmeal, dry cereal, variety of fruits, english muffins, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, toast, bagels, juices and coffee. It was all very good and is all complimentary. The swimming pool was beautiful and warm. There is also a jacuzzi which was also very nice. I would highly recommend this hotel. It is located next door to one of our favorite restaurants, Cracker Barrel.

“Great experience”

We had a very good experience. Our stay was over Christmas and although the motel was full, everything ran smoothly. Very clean and comfortable. Friendly employees. Nice breakfast selections. Wonderful beds. Pool was warm and well maintained. (It was beautiful to sit in the cozy pool area and enjoy the beautiful snow on the landscape outside or read a book by the gas fireplace in the comfortable lobby) Convenient location for us. We would definitely stay there again.

“Excellent hotel, excellent experience”

My only regret was that we were not able to stay longer. The staff was super. When we first entered our room, we thought we had the wrong room. It was huge; much like being at home. It was a King study, but felt like a suite. The bathroom was large and very clean. The living area was large as well as the sleeping area. It just had a homey feel to it. The breakfast was very good, with lot's of choices. We are hoping to plan a future vacation around this hotel. We stayed in a five star hotel in Chicago the four previous nights for a convention and were very dissatisfied. This is an excellent choice and I highly recommend it.

New hotel, pleasant experience. Beautiful flowers at the front entrance were a nice touch as well. Roomiest bathroom we had on our trip.

“Good service for the money”

We've stayed at this hotel many times - with AAU basketball teams, as a family, as well as small groups of friends traveling to different venues. The staff is always friendly, the hotel is always clean. The only less than positive is that the breakfast area is often very crowded and it can be difficult to find a seat if you eat at a later time. The selection of food for a complimentary buffet is good however, and replenished quickly. We stay in MANY hotels throughout a year - this one is ALWAYS good.
