The Baymont was not located where I thought....however...that was MY fault, not theirs! The motel itself was very nice and the free breakfast was wonderful! Especially because I was traveling with 4 teenage boys! Just wish it stayed open a little longer than 9:30am.

The room was clean. The bed was very comfortable. It was quiet. The pool was only open from 3pm to 10pm. It would have been nice to take an early morning swim at 7 or 8am.

The indoor pool was relaxing and there was no one else swimming. There was an outdoor pool as well. One minor problem and two major issues guests might encounter: The minor issue was there was no remote for our TV. I called the front desk to let them know and I was informed that many TVs didn't have remotes and the manager would be right over. He did come and program a remote for us. A major issue was the banister on the staircase popped out and the manager was banging it back into place. Seems to me that could be a big safety problem. Also, in the morning my wife discovered 10+ rusty nails around our car in the parking lot. That could have led to disaster. Otherwise it was quiet and I got some much needed rest.

The beds in the rooms were very comfortable. The hotel had a wide variety to choose from for breakfast. Close and convenient to the interstate.

Foyer has recently been refurbished. Nice. No one at desk when I went in and out; not a safe feeling. Not what I expected for a Baymont Suites. No elevator. There is a 'another hotel' building attached behind this hotel. I suspect, but did not check this out, that they share the pool. Counter worker very inexperienced. Maid service was very good and efficient. This hotel is tucked up close to Interstate 80. Surroundings are industrial and in flux; empty lots, unattractive and not a safe feeling. I probably won't stay here again.
