my husband and myself have stayed at this hotel on 3 occassions and we cant find any fault with the hotel or the staff and the breakfast is excellent

“Best hotel I've stayed in in Derby...”

Impressed by efficiency and friendliness. Room was comfortable and well equiped...tea & coffee, shampoo & bubblebath etc. Also car parking available. Short walk to either Derby Rail or Westfield Centre also to Derby Royal Infirmary.

A friendly and welcoming hotel. I've tried a few hotels in Derby and this is a great hotel for a very reasonable price ... I will go back to this hotel each time I come to Derby

From our arrival at the hotel we were impressed with the friendliness of the welcome and the willingness of the staff to answer all our questions. They were quick to offer us the benefit of their local knowledge and their recommendations for local takeaways were absolutely top notch. The staff frequently went above and beyond to make sure that all of our needs where constantly met and nothing was too much trouble. The Deputy Manager, Lisa mcColm was extremely efficient and helpful ans she clearly runs a tight ship. This hotel was ideally located for travel to the Download festival, providing quick access to the shuttle buses and a willingness to offer a weekend special on beers was very much appreciated. We will most definately use this hotel next year - if only they coulod control the weather! A big thank to to all the staff for their warm welcome, friendliness and professional approach in everything they did.

“Good Value Hotel”

We found that this hotel was very good value for money.It was easy walking into the city centre.All the staff were very friendly and very helpful.We enjoyed the "Full English Breakfast" and there was a very good choice either healthy or not.There is a very large car park for the use of guests.It was so easy to visit all parts of Derbyshire from our base at this hotel.Thank You HallMark for a very excellent stay.

“Excellent Location / Friendly Staff”

Arrived at 8:30am and phoned in to ask if I could check in early - reorganised house keeping and I checked in just after 9:00am (fantastic when you have spent 24 hours on a place and 3 hours driving!).
