First time experience at Sleep Inn, Denver

Damon at the Reception went out of his way to help check in quick, arranged things I needed to get done in a jiffy and generally ensured I had a convenient stay. Thanks. Guys!

Pros: The rooms were modern and the bed was comfy.
I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. And it's was close to everything in the tech center area. Would stay there again on the next visit.

Unaccommodating Weekend Staff

Cons: Staff being on time for work and having items prepared on time.
Location: None
Saturday breakfast server never had breakfast or breakfast room ready on time. She also did not fill items when they ran out. Desk individual was condescending and rude. She the desk individual thought it was funny to just stand in front of coffee until she had her coffee perfect. While she talked to the breakfast individual about rude people. Will never stay at a Sleep Inn again.

Pros: The shower
Cons: EVERYTHING!
Location: Plenty of eating & shopping
I chose this hotel for it's price & location. The proximity to my meetings was great but you get what you pay for! The pool area was dark & the water was freezing cold. My door lock was broken & took several tries to get the key to work. My card was charged $20 for incidentals, as usual but I was not told about a "pre-authorization" charge when they scanned it & although there are no incidentals, the $20 is still charged to my card 2 days later! I was 3 minutes late for breakfast because I confused the weekday/weekend hours & it was clear that the "hostess" would rather throw away good food than let me eat any of it. I inconvenienced her greatly by asking if I could at least get a yogurt & then I had the audacity to ask her for a spoon to eat it with!

No Thermostat...that sucks

Cons: thermostats for heater/AC units
The heater/AC unit did not have thermostat. It was the old school high/low setting. Just about every hotel has a room unit that allows you to set the specific temperature desired. This is something that was lacking and really is so basic.

We enjoy staying at this location. Our experience was somewhat hampered by new staff members whose hearts are not with the program. As are most hotels in Denver, this is a non-smoking venue. However there are designated areas for those still addicted. The areas provided NO seating whatsoever--just an ash can. It was a beautiful sunny weekend. I asked if someone could move one of the 36 chairs (plastic) in the pool area outside to the patio. I asked 2 different desk clerks. As we left Sunday morning after a two night stay, there were NO chairs on the patio. Also, there was some kind of grime in the shower area around the glass door and the shower smelled musty.

Close to DTC

Pleasant front desk staff, efficient housekeeping, nice breakfast, indoor pool, clean room. Ample parking, close to freeway, restaurants and business area (Denver Tech Center). A little hard to find, hidden away behind another hotel and office buildings, but refreshing to see a moderated priced hotel in the area, with Sheraton & Hyatt.

Nice Hotel, close to freeway

Clean, comfortable, quiet room. TV, Fridge, microwave, free WiFi in room. Nice breakfast, pool, laundry facilities and efficient staff. Overall, very nice for a mid priced hotel.
