Maybe I didn't know what to expect from an Extended Stay, BUT I expected more. On arrival: I called earlier in the day to request a non-smoking room (it was smoking). They offered to change it, but it was midnight and I just wanted to go to bed. They switched me the next day. No phone No clock No shampoo/conditioner No plates, silver ware, cups No coffee maker No hair dryer * All of the above (except shampoo and conditioner, you're on your own) are available upon request. I expected them to be there since it's an Extended Stay. New room: Light bulbs burned out in two lamps. At this point I was tired of requesting the basics. The refrigerator door was facing the wall which made it difficult to get stuff in and out. A/C worked inconsistently. Property overall had ghetto feel. There were people loitering around the parking lot alone and in groups. The group's seemed to be tailgating, because they were drinking beer out in the parking lot. People were frequently having phone conversations while sitting on the stairs. I felt like I had to be very aware while walking around the property at night so I didn't get assaulted. Won't be going back.

We checked in, and checked right back out after 1 hour of poor experience. Don't let the price of this hotel lure you in

Beauty is Only Skin Deep

Overall we were very disappointed with our stay from beginning to end. We arrived at 4:30 to check-in and were informed that we would have to wait 30 min as the room was not clean. The wait for the room was actually more than an hour. When we arrived at the room we discovered that their definition of clean was actually filthy. The room smelled terrible, there were little chunks of food (or God only knows what) in the sink and the bedding was stained. It was so gross that I purchased cleaning supplies and cleaned the room myself in order to stay. The dishes in the kitchen were dirty, unmatched and a real joke. The coffee maker barely worked and the microwave was a turntable style without a turntable. The magnetic room keys seemed to have a one use life expectancy causing us to visit the office to have the keys recoded almost every time we left the room. The staff was friendly but offered no apologies for the check-in difficulties, the deplorable condition of the room or room key hang-ups. The free WiFi service was sporadic and at times down completely. This is a pity since the Extended Stay concept is appealing, however, I do not plan on staying in an Extended Stay facility again. Fool me once - shame on you - fool me twice - shame on me!

Unorganized, not clean

Posted 23-Jun-2014
The hotel first overbooked and did not have a room for us even though we had talked to them twice about late check in, once with us calling and once with them calling us. Another person came in behind me and they had done the same to her. They did pay for another hotel for the night, but would not reimburse for the inconvenience. When we did get to check in for the second night's stay, the room was not very clean. I could see piles of someone's hair by the toilet and the non-smoking room smelled strongly of smoke. They did not have extra pillows or blankets for the sofa sleeper, and the added sleeping space was one reason we booked there. There was also a constant loud drip noise from above that went on off and on through the night. I have stayed in some worse places, but I will not be booking at this place again. The one person at the front desk who found us a room was very pleasant and the person the next day was easy to work with, but that's the only pleasant part of the experience.

Pros: location
Cons: Cleanliness
Needed a place close to where I had to go to some training. This was best price in the area. (still too much) Very dirty.

Worst stay

Posted 10-Jun-2014
This hotel was by far the worst I've stayed at. There were no towel in the room. Waited for over five minutes at the front desk everytime I went to it. Seemed more like an apartment complex. People lived there.
