“ok but far from vancouver downtown”

We were tempted with the price but the distance from vancouver downtown is not worth it even if you drive. we had a car but each trip takes min 35 minutes. It is an ok place if you need to be close to Delta area. The hotel is old, rooms are clean but out of class. Breakfast is a joke, just juice, tea, coffee, some breads, jam etc, no cooked or hot food. parking is secure. staff are polite.

“Very comfortable - would definitely go back”

Everything, comfort wise, was great with this hotel - staff, cleanliness, size of the room, and it was very quiet. The only thing that wasn't really great was the restaurant adjacent to the hotel was not open for breakfast and there wasn't another nice restaurant to go to close by. The restaurant didn't open until 10 a.m. Food was great for lunch though.

Area recommendations

This neighbourhood was good - hotel is located about 10 minutes from the ferry terminal. It is located on the main street and shops etc are very close. About a 5 minute walk away.

“Excellent value in a quiet neighbourhood”

Perhaps there were few guests when I stayed but this is the most peaceful hotel I have ever stayed in and afforded me a good nights sleep. Desk staff were courteous and helpful. Continental breakfast was fairly standard fare but quite adequate and coffee better than most. Room layout somewhat dated (wash basin separate from bathroom). Wireless internet fast and reliable (not always the case in more expensive hotels at which I have stayed) and the computer/ printer in lobby (no charge) was useful for printing boarding passes for my flight. Parking secure and also free of charge.Overall excellent value

“Great Location which suited my needs”

Only problem was that the phone in the room did not work and I missed a number of calls that were international and very important to me.

“Needs updating”

The room was very clean, but it needs new bed linens and bedspreads. Just seemed to need updating. Showerhead needs replacing, not much water pressure. Location, very good. Restaurant very good.

“Convenient to Ferries”

This was a comfortable hotel close to the ferries to Victoria. Will use them the next time we do a Vancouver Island trip.

“clean and comfortable”

We were able to get into our room a little early which was nice since we had an early flight. The staff was very helpful in helping us navigate our way in and around Vancouver. We totally enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

Area recommendations

Vancouver Island was spectacular. We could have spent a week there.

“Would Stay Here Again”

This hotel definatly lived up to my expectations. The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff was extremely helpful. It was very conveniently located, close to the ferry teminal. My only concern is that the shuttle service does not start until 3 p.m.. Overall I was very satisfied with this hotel.
