“Loved the hotel, staff could do enough for you, really helpful, room lovely”

The staff in this hotel really helpful and always ready to offer advice and talk to you. The room had recently been refurbished and was very spacious and clean. The food was nice in the hotel and the staff good in offering advice on what to eat as I do not like spicy food. There was building going on outside the hotel and the road unmade, but this is part of Delhi. There were alot of shops where you can barter and items could be very reasonable. We found everyone very friendly.

This hotel is in the center of Delhi. The staff is most accommodating, the hotel is clean, and the restaurant is excellent. It is exactly the kind of hotel we like best; a mixture of foreign and local guests. Everyone was most helpful and kind and it's a good place to stay for both adult travelers and children.

“Great hotel in dingy location....”

While the hotel itself is located in a dingy corner of Delhi, I was pleasently surprised to find that the qualifty of the rooms and finishes were well above those I expected from a 3-star hotel. Additionally, the room sizes were comparitively larger than even 5-str rooms in delhi (such as the hilton). The service and friendliness of the staff was quite welcoming, and while they can be a bit overdoting, they remain uninstrusive.The only complaint was that wireless was not available in the rooms and one had to go down to the coffee shop in order to avail of this service.

“Can't beat the price”

Let me get the negatives out of the way -- first the location. It is not in the best of areas. The surroundings, though safe, were very run down. Second, while the materials uses were 4 or even 5 star - the maintenance and fit and finish was not in line with that. On the positive -- the value was great, the service excellent -- Polite, friendly and almost fawning, After all, it is in the city used to Maharaja's of the past. Very close to the Metro (3-4 minutes walk) it is convenient for a business traveller and a tourist on a budget. The food was well made, though the restaurant was mostly empty. So if you are looking for attentive staff and quiet meals, this is the place. However, if you wish to mingle then you will feel very lonely. Wireless is available only in the restaurant, though there were discussion going on while I was there to offer wireless in the entire hotel.

Although the hotel had a few decent rooms, i think it is grossly understaffed and in a very bad locality. The hotel is in a narrow street and construction activities are happening there. The good thing is about the proximity to CP and other area. Bathrooms and rooms were quite clean and good. Breakfast services were not very impressive only two dishes to serve ( Bread toast and poori with some baked vegetables and some curry). I found the staff was very cooperative and very helpful although only few were available to support the guests. The wifi service was available in the lounge area but not in rooms. Had reservation about the rates we paid for the service.

“Give it a miss!”

The hotel is in an awful area and is not easily reachable by taxi. The hotel has recently changed its name and so no-one knows of it! They are still refurbishing and renovating and the place is a mess. The coffee shop is tiny, the restaurant very small and the service terrible. There was a constant smell of damp concrete at all times and the renovated rooms although clean were not great. This should not be classed as a boutique hotel whatsoever - it's just a hotel that's changed its name, had a bit of a refurb and is trying to be a boutique hotel. Although one member of staff was very helpful, the majority were not and onlys seemed intent to trying to get more money out of you.

“Not Happy”

This is the dirties,filthiest hotel I have stayed in in the past 20 years, The staff were very good, but management style very very poor no humbleness except for front office manager, our room was flooded, we had to move 3 times, there was faeces on towels, the geyser did not work ,most mornings had a cold shower, Will not recommend it to anyone.
