“Fab Delhi Experience”
Wonderful hotel and located in a quiet, beautiful part of Delhi yet accessible to all the major points of historic sites, old Delhi and shopping! Would recommend it highly and would return in a flash cost permitting!!
“Great place to sleep and swim, mediocre place to eat”
Our room was outstanding. The 2 pools were awesome. The staff for the hotel was on it. The only problem was the mediocre restaurants. Both the Delicatessen and 360 were really lame expensive restaurants. I would suggest eating outside the hotel.
“Great retreat from the chaos of Delhi”
The Oberoi is a great retreat from the chaos of Delhi, but you obviously pay for the privilege, and you don't get much of a sense of India from the hotel, you could be in any 5 star hotel in the world, there's not a great deal of character - which I guess would be a plus to business people! Great food in the 360 bar and nice atmosphere, it's a relief to be able to drink the tap water in a hotel in India.. : ) Nice pool and spa and business centre. Rooms are smallish but well appointed and have all the creature comforts, with nice views of either the golf course or Humayun's Tomb.
“Excellent hotel”
The Oberoi Delhiis not the most convenient for business, but it is a superb hotel and well worth the extra minutes in the taxi.
“Oberoi Delhi - will certainly go back”
Hotel is very good, service fantastic, food extremely good, room maybe a little tired but it would take a very fussy customer to call it anything other than acceptable for a 5 star hotel
“Excellent hotel choice for New Delhi”
Oberoi has the highest standards when it comes treating their customers. I have stayed in luxury hotels all over the world, but I have never encountered such personal touch at any other hotel. They treated me with exceptional care, and every staff member was very courteous and friedly. They have an awesome indoor and outdoor pool, and very nice steam, sauna areas. I stayed at the Oberoi for 3 nights and felt reinvigorated. The breakfast buffet is also something I highly recomend.
“Superb hotel”
Excellent accommodations and the best service I have received anywhere in the world. I wish every hotel treated me this well.
“Nice but didn't quite cut it”
Attractive and comfortable with attentive desk and concierge service, the Oberoi almost but doesn't quite hit the spot. Their main dining room offers delicious, apparently award winning, Indian fare with spotty service though better for dinner than for the busy breakfast. Coffee was inconsistent and never strong enough for this traveler. As my India travels progressed, however, I looked back longingly at the weak brew as Nescafe instant kept rearing its ugly head. The hotel offers several kinds of pillows for the asking and has a nice view of the golfcourse and pool. The big disappointment assaulted me in the shower in the form of a brown fecal spot on my otherwise pearly white and freshly laundered wash cloth. Management seemed appropriate appalled as illustrated by a personal visit by the housekeeping manager and the arrival of a mysterious unmarked floral arrangement but no offer of comps on our bill. My massage was very good and the spa facilities nice. It's not their fault that a female guest was mid-rant about some guys ogling her in the gym when I checked in for my service. I would try out one of Delhi's many other nice hotels, the Imperial for example, before giving the Oberoi another chance.
“Un oasis dans la mousson”
Hôtel 5 étoiles à n'en pas douter, qui offre un refuge salutaire dans la mousson et répit apprcié dans une l'odyssée indienne de tout Occidental qui veut une pause de choc culturel....
