“Hotel near Delhi airport”
We stayed at the hotel on 2 different occasions while waiting to board a plane. On each occasion we had rooms for the day into the very late evening hours. The room was well appointed, clean and very comfortable. We never ate at the hotel and we did not go outside so I have no idea about the neighborhood. It is about 7 klms from the airport but I could not find any hotel right in the airport. Taxi drivers seem to have no idea where the hotel is so it is important that they call the hotel and get directions before starting off.
“Nice hotel close to the airport.”
We stayed at this hotel on our last two nights in India and it was well worth the money. The hotel is a 3.5/4 star western hotel and was very clean and presentable. I would suggest staying here like we did to be close to the airport for a 5am flight otherwise every place you go is a long trip in crazy Delhi traffic. Just a tip. 800 rupees for taxi to airport though!
“More than what I expected”
For the price it is quite a nice hotel with good hotel staff members. I will recommend any time to my friends and also I am happy to stay at this place whenever I go to Delhi. It is good for business and short duration stays as the place is in a village and not much can be expected outside the hotel.
“not impressed”
so-so
“OK for budget business people and thats all - try to avoid”
This is not a 4 Star Hotel. Yhey are trying but dont have the experience and knowledge of what an overseas visiting requires for comfort. My room shower was blocked and most of the romm service items were not available. When my hot toasted sandwich arrived it was cold so I complained. My evening room service food was also cold. I ordered 4 items and it seems that each item was cooked one after the other, so the curry and rice were at the right temp and the prawn and chocken starter were luke warm at best. One member of staff doesnt know what the other is doing. I changed my room the next day and was upgraded and eventually most of my food was not charged due to the manager, who in fairness, was good. Most of the breakfast buffet was not hot either. The upgraded room had a good aircon but when you turned it off a burning smell came out of it. The plud sockets didnt all work and you needed to put your finger in the top hole for the two pin. Generally clean rooms with plenty of extras and a big TV. Not a good location. Some taxi drivers cant find Kapashera area and theres not much to eat around on foot. I very rarely complain but I wont be going back again. Its expensive and I used an expedia voucher which I wished I hadnt. My othe hotels in Mumbai and Chennai were fantastic so this was a dissapointment at the end of my travels after a great trip.
“Find another place”
The hotel lobby and common area was clean but very hot. They keep the a/c off obviously to save some money. Our room was clean at first glance but the bug we found crawling on the sheets and the old musty smell coming from the sheets told another story. The a/c in the room did work well, but if you left the door open for even a minute, like when the bags were brought up, it got hot quickly.
