“Pleasant central Delhi hotel”
Conveniently located hotel in Civil Lines area, just North of Old Delhi. Easily reached by Metro from the airport, with one change at New Delhi station. Excellent staff and service in a lovely, old hotel with good rooms. Food is a bit pricey, but there's a good cafe - "Mocha" - 100m away near the Metro station. No street noise penetrates the tranquil hotel and the pool is a very welcome sight.
“Couldn't have selected a better hotel!!”
If you are looking for a hotel that can combine the colonial architecture and modern ammenities, Maidens Hotel is the place to stay. When you arrive to the hotel, you feel like arriving to a early 20th century palace. Throughout the hotel, the architecture and interior design is fully colonial. However, once you are in the room, you are surrounded of excellent accomodations. This is what I call as simple elegance. Besides the friendly and oustanding customer service made my stay in Delhi quite a memory to keep. too bad my stay wasn't that long, but making plans to come back and visit ASAP.
“Tranquil luxury and elegance”
A very spacious room, perfectly clean, tastefully decorated. A feeling of tropical Indian atmosphere in the hotel with white columns, marble, lush gardens - though we came in cold December. Very comfortable bed. Great restaurant - everything in white marble -where we had a delicious Indian dinner buffet. Within walking distance from the Metro station; completely safe also at night or you take a cycle rikscha for the 100 meters to the hotel. A heritage hotel, at lower price but certainly not with less comfort than the other heritage hotel directly at the main place in the center ( the Imperial).
“Upgraded!”
This historic hotel is very charming and the service is impeccable. The main drawback is the location, rather far away from any of the tourist sites of Delhi, all requiring a taxi. My room (an upgraded suite) was extremely comfortable.
“Best Hotel in Old Delhi”
Chose this heritage hotel due to its closeness to the Kashmere Gate Interstate Bus Terminal. It's clean, cool, has an excellent dining room and a great swimming pool. The staff were very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Rooms were large and comfortable. Compares really well with the hustle and bustle outside in Old Delhi.
“No balcony rooms”
A lovely clean hotel. Staff very helpful. Ensure your taxi driver knows the location as it took me 2 hours from the airport. Also beware that no rooms have a balcony. The first room I was shown had no outside windows and was very dark but the staff were happy to move me to a room that at least had an external window. It didn't make up for balcony but it was better than nothing.
“Hôtel Maidens à Old Delhi”
Un grand hôtel classique dans des locaux et avec un jardin splendides. Un accueil très professionnel et un très bon restaurant. L'hôtel se trouve à Old Delhi. Donc idéal pour aller visiter les bazars, accessibles à deux stations de métro.
