“Great hotel with fantasticly helpful staff”

From the moment we arrived at the hotel the staff were indredibly helpful. The manager personally gave us advice on what to see and do and arranged for our tuk tuks, taxis and even negotiated rates for us so we avoided the standard foreigner prices. We were a little disappointed to learn that the business center was under construction along with the health club but the manager leant me his own laptop so I could check my work email. The rest of the staff were equally friendly and helpful and I would highly recommend 'The Residence' to anyone.

A genuine boutique hotel in Delhi. Great rooms, overwhelming service, fantastic kitchen, great price. Rooms at the front can be a little noisy.

“Quiet comfortable in South Delhi”

The Residence Delhi is a small chain of moderately priced, small and friendly hotels. The staff worked very hard to please. The hotel was clean and comfortable, certainly a 3+ star. The only problem was the WiFi was a bit erratic. They worked hard to fix it, even moving the transmitters, but it was not stable. That might be due to the internet service. The hotel is right off of the outer South Ring Road, about 35 to 45 minutes from the airports. It is close to the Qutab Minar and 15 minutes from the Lotus Temple. It is 35 minutes from Conaught Place and 75 minutes from North Delhi. Food was good, both western and Indian although the menue is a bit limited. They were happy to please. It is a relatively quite neighborhood in the Panscheel Park area, with a quiet stroll in a residenital area and small park near by.

If you have to be based in South Delhi then this is the best hotel to be in. The location is extremely convenient, the staff is courteous, and it's good value for money if you include b'fast and dinner in the package.

“comfy room”

The hotel room was nicely decorated and had a great bed. The staff helped me navigate Delhi. The restaurant was simple and not very decorative, but the food was great. I kept coming back for dinner because it was better than restaurant food that I had outside ! The computers were rusty and overloaded with programs in the business center. I would stay here again--it was very nice and low key.

Although it is located on the main road but the sound proof window worked perfectly without the noise of the street outside. I have no complaint with the huge bed and reasonable size of the bathroom with this 3.5 star rating.

This hotel was very clean and comfotable, the folks were very friendly and helpful with all of our needs. The street is quite busy and it isn't close to the airport, but we wanted a clean and cool hotel and this was perfect. The dining room/restaurant remains open until very late and the food is great.

“7 Nights at The Residence Delhi”

Hotel offers superb value for the Expedia rate. Not quite full Four Star performance but satisfying value for the price. Friendly staff, good breakfast buffet, clean and in a relatively peaceful section of Delhi. Delhi hotel prices are skyrocketing but this hotel offers real value. I stayed 7 nights over a 10 day period.

“Convenient Location & Good Amenities!”

The hotel is well maintained & has all the necessary ingredients, including good food (going by the complimentary breakfast). BUT, the wi-fi didn't work. They needed to get technical assistance which didn't arrive till we checked out the next day. The room looked exactly as depicted in the pictures, but in reality is very, very small...:-))
