“Comfort, food food, & Megha Tours”

First, Hotel Megha may be very affordable, but it offers great comforts like its soft beds and has the most polite, friendly staff. The hotel offers a great dinner selection & quality food at a great price. While staying here, I recommend your sitting down to talk to the hotel’s owner, Naresh, who can help plan any number of tours throughout India for you through his Megha Tours company. Having arrived in India, I was worried about having to take the trains many of my colleagues at work had called “difficult” to get on to. I didn’t want to miss time in Rajasthan because I couldn’t buy a train ticket, so I took a risk in signing up for the Megha tour package, but I must say that I don’t regret having placed my trust in Naresh’s company. Not only did the Megha Tours Company place me with a fatherly, kind, and informative driver named Puri, but the package paid for tolls, parking, taxes, gasoline, etc. Although I recommend bringing extra money to tip the driver with, I can affirm that the package included all other costs such as hotels. The hotels I stayed in while in Rajasthan wee sometimes sleek and modern (Jaipour), while others afforded an amazing view of a fort/palace (Jodhpur). The hotel package provided me with great breakfasts, comfort, and peace of mind. Finally, the tour package provided me with a complimentary tour guides for my stay in Jaipur (the excellent Megha employee Dave was really helpful in Jaipur).

“Basic accommodations for a small budget”

Friendly staff and decent room. Mr Bhatia helped us plan an affordable tour around Jaipur, Agra and Delhi -- he was a great help. The hotel was decent, but not very well maintained. I had to ask them to clean the room every day and give us new bedsheets when we checked in. Location was great - close to metro and market. Mr. Bhatia owns Hotel Madonna which is in the same block. That was a much better hotel for a little bit more money. If you can spare the expense, I would choose that over this hotel.

“False Advertising”

This is a fairly decent really basic hotel, but don't believe any of the fancy room features. They certainly don't have jet baths, or washer/dryer or anything like that (and they don't seem to have any intention of removing this information from their advertisements.. They do, however, provide a clean room (generally), in a good location to the markets. The food was decent, and the hotel staff were accomodating. It's worth noting that there are 3 hotels in this chain in Delhi, and a number of hotels with similar names, and they all have different facilities etc.
