“As advertized”

Fortunately, no surprises. Hot shower worked, all electrical worked including A/C. Asked for and recieved clean linen. Website claims complimentary airport pickup; desk clerk tried to say that didn't apply to internet booking. We argued and received no charge. Overall, we got what we paid for in this area of town.

“Very basic but clean”

This hotel is what you would expect for what you are paying. Ideally this hotel suits those who are 'back pack' travellers as it is very basic, rough cut but suprisingly clean. The hotel is in the heart of Delhi's chaos and not really near any of the major sights - so expect to travel by taxi everywhere - but be warned not to order a taxi through the hotel as you'll be paying for unneccesaary commission. All in all the hotel is perfect if all you wish to do is sleep as soon as you get there and leave the very next day.

“Oh dear.”

The people were very nice, but the hotel was shabby the sheets far too small and no towels. Breakfast was fine.

“Not great”

We booked this hotel as a one night stop gap between Shimla and Agra and were pleased we weren't staying much longer. We'd arranged a train station transfer as we arrived at 11pm and were leaving at 5am thinking it would make things a little easier. After 4 calls to the hotel to find where our driver was he arrived 60 mins late. We got to the hotel, and then found that our pillows had blood stains. We asked for new ones but they never arrived. Now, I am fully aware what Delhi is like but still the price wasn't cheap and we found the service/cleanliness weren't great and were still hounded for all the usual "extras". It was an "okay" hotel but I wouldn't go back.

staff not helpfull, not comfortable, too expensive for what is offered, crappy neighborhood. dont go!
