“Amazing Aura”

I arranged for the hotel to send a driver to pick me up from the airport and he was both prompt and polite. The Hotel staff was very helpful, kind and informative throughout my entire stay. I ordered room service several times and was impressed with the quick service and excellent quality food (good sized portions for the price). I am a young woman and was traveling with one other young woman and we felt very safe there during our stay. The hotel also offered day trips and sightseeing services that I did not engage in but would recommend to other travelers. Overall I was very pleased with the hotel in general.

“Amazing Hotel Aura”

I spent just one night in this hotel.Hotel is situated near New Delhi Railway station.Rooms are super clean.Twice they provide fresh towels and sheets.Hotel has Satellite Tv with hundreds of channel.Hotel provided me free laptop which was great.This kind of rooms cost more than double in 4-5 star hotels in India. Restaurant serves tasty and variety of foods.Complimentry Breakfast is realy superb.Over all my stay was Fantastic in Hotel Aura

“Diamond in a subsided neighborhood”

Very good hotel,clean, full equiped with everything must have an european Hotel 4-5 stars, 700 meters from the Central Railway Station of N.Delhi, in the midle of a very undergraded neighborhood. Very often black out,4-5 times/Night for afew minutes.

“Best Hotel in New Delhi! Clean, Cheap, Top Service! Well Impressed!”

Three of us stayed in this hotel for 5 nights during January 2012. Hotel is just 5 minutes from the New Delhi metro station. Connaught Place, Karol Bagh and Chandni Chowk are all between 5 - 15 minutes taxi ride away. Upon arrival to the airport we did not recive our free hotel pick up as was requested through expedia. However the hotel staff sincerely apologised and we was satisfied with their attempt to resolute the problem by paying for the taxi which we had to order at the airport. We was greeted by staff and showed to our room, there was small problem with the room being not as we expected but as soon as we addressed this the management, namely Kampeet provided us with the room to suit our needs. Rohit was also helpul in this situation. Throughout our stay we have been overwhelmed with the courtersy the staff show and attention provided to any enquiries. The hotel provide free buffet breakfast comprimising of a small but good quality food including english and indian choices. The hotel was very kind in offering to serve us breakfast to our hotel early in the morning (6am) as we had planned to set off to Agra for the day trip to see the Taj Mahal. The hotel was cleaned and tided everyday and overall cleansiness of the hotel standards were high for a 3 star hotel. The staff, hotel building and distance to attractions made our stay in this hotel pleasurable. We would recommend this hotel to anyone. Enjoy your stay!

“Decent”

The room was not exactly ready for us when we got there. Had to call for towels and the ones they brought were stained and had the logo of a different hotel on them (we just thought that was funny). All in all the food was good and decently priced but still think it was over charged a bit. There are a ton of hotels on the same street and I think we could have gotten more from our money elsewhere but not a bad stay all in all.

“Nice stay in Delhi”

This hotel was good value. The breakfast was adequate. The staff were dependable. The room was smallish, but comfortable. There is a very nice restaurant just down the street. This hotel would be a very good base to explore Delhi.

“Second time just as good”

This was our second stay and we were just as pleased as the first time. We stayed in four hotels during our trip to India. This hotel was by far the best value.

“Superb 7 Day Stay”

The staff at this hotel are superb, and will go above and beyond for their guests. Among other requests they helped some in our party acquire train tickets, walked me to an ATM because I was taking out quite a bit of cash, and found our party several outlet adapters. The people who worked there were all exceptionally helpful. The only negative would be the neighborhood which was noisy, crowded, and a bit rough around the edges. The food for breakfast was nice, but if you get the chance order other meals at their restaurant, their chefs are great and very friendly, and the food was delicious. Rooms were very clean, and housekeeping did a great job. Overall, Aura was a great hotel, and our large party loved our week stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a cost effective option in Delhi.

“Hotel Aura - A good hotel in Pahar Ganj”

This is one of the better budget hotels in the Pahar Ganj area, they know this and price themselves accordingly. We found Hotel Aura to be clean enough, but there are the usual issues with noise - the noise from reception echoes through the entire building and it seemed like every now and then someone would drop something heavy and noisy on the floor during the night. Also the usual all night Indian street noises are present It was clean and tidy enough, and the staff were very good - we arrived very late at night to a pleasant reception, and the restaurant staff, especially the waiters were great, and happy to talk to us about the area and what we should do in Delhi.

“Good value for money”

Very good value for the money. Excellent food. Wonderful staff. Only complaint would be that it takes time - about 10 mins for shower water to heat up.
