“Will book again.”
Can't beat the price and with airport pickup it is the best way I've found to enter India. Have stayed there 5 times now and am reserving again for next trip. Rooms are clean and service is very good. Restaurant is improving and now quite good. Not ideal for getting a good impression of Delhi but excellent for transit needs.
“Homely Atmosphere..........”
My friends were here two years ago and liked Ajanta Hotel. Having stayed here while passing through Delhi, I agree with my friends. Nice room, homely atmosphere, free airport pickup- all positive….. Thanks………..
“Excellent stay, Can't wait to go back”
My husband and I arrived late at night and were exhausted. Our airport-to-hotel transportation was late. Upon arrival at our hotel we were unsure as to the quality of the hotel and safety of the neighborhood. We were a little disappointed. But our concerns quickly lifted. We were unhappy in our assigned room and by morning requested a change, which was immediately granted. We adjusted our expectations and attitude: We were not in the U.S or europe- or anywhere in the world, but India- and went out to meet this one country and its people, and to discover and enjoy its uniqueness and how they do things. These were chief among our reasons for coming in the first place. We enjoyed our stay at the Ajanta Hotel in Delhi and our experiences in the country. We can't wait to go back.
“Truly a nice hotel”
Hotel Ajanta is truly a nice hotel to be in especially when you want a reasonable or mid range hotel. This time I was here with my family and I needed s few extra facilities like airport pick up.I felt really happy when the staff told me that we provide free picks up facility to our guest as per the current plan. They received us at the airport and we were in hotel within 35 minutes. We were provided a beautiful room with a comfortable bed.Room services were also round the clock and I felt that all the staff members have very jolly and friendly nature. We appreciate the services of the hotel at such reasonable rates.
“Lovely Hotel”
My friends have been here before so I choose to come. A lot of painting was being done. They asked me for my views also. I think it was a part of maintainance . I like the terrace.

“Excellent Stay !!!”
I stayed at the Ajanta and were well looked after by the staff and the general manager himself. Since a few rooms were vacant, got a room of my choice. Slept well and had a hearty buffet breakfast in their restaurant and all good, will be back. Thank you all.
“Go here for a decent room for a few days”
Nothing about this hotel will blow you away, but it's an overall clean and nice hotel. If you're a tourist visiting India, you'll not feel alone. They have Money exchange and a restaurant within the hotel, services I ended up using frequently.
“Vaule for Money”
Clean functional hotel, value for money
“Ok for the price, you should see different rooms”
I stayed in this hotel twice. The first time I had a room at ground floor located at the backsite of the hotel. No english television channel. The room was very cold, on request they provided a small electrical heater which warmed the room a bit (for free). The bathroom was still to cold to take an shower (no window, just a grill). As the room was located close to the kitchen it was very noisy till midnight. The second room was on the thrid floor in the middle of the building. Therefore much warmer, but a bit smelly (no window at this room) This room had some english channels at television. The free airport pickup service worked perfect, even its a very simple small car. For the transport back to airport they asked for the double price than a standard taxi on the street. Wireless Internet is available at high costs. The restaurant within the hotel was very good, prices high but still ok, The staff was very helpful and friendly. The area around the hotel was very dirty/smelly. Railway station was 10 minutes walking distance, easy to find. Lonley planet described this area as full of drug junkies and prostitudes, I didn't see a single one.
