“Not as nice as it seems”

So... they hotel looked pretty new and nice on pics, and reviews weren't bad. But if you cannot stand dirty bathrooms like my self this is not the place for you. The staff was friendly, the hotel is pretty and has potential, but it is SO DIRTY. The floors seemed like they had no been cleaned in weeks, as well as the bathroom. Def not a good experience. The location wasn't the best either, all of our taxis kept getting lost as the area has two different names. Anyway, it is too pricey for the quality, for $20 -$30 more you are better off in a known chain like Radisson. If you are on a budget, this is def a better choice than a hostal

What to pack

Bring granola bars if you can, it would have been a great snack as we never saw a supermarket and th esmaller stores only sell chips and sugary cookies.

“EMBLEM”

EVERYTHING WAS BETTER THAN EXPECTED, INCLUDING SMALL RESTAURANT----EXCEPT BREAKFAST WAS REALLY BAD. COLD FOOD, LIMITED CHOICES.. BREAKFAST THE ONLY BAD THING IN A VERY PLEASANT STAY.

“Great value, surprised by the quality and service”

This was a great little hotel. Very clean, good location. But it was the staff that made the experience great. They were very helpful and went beyond the call of duty on several requests we had. This is a great hotel if you are looking for a quality value but can do without all of the bells and whistles of the 5 stars.

Try out the New Friends Colony Community Center. It's an outdoor shopping area with great restaurants and coffee shops.

“Beautiful Hotel”

What a lovely oasis! The room was beautiful. Loved the place. Everyone was helpful and lovely. The got a car to see the Taj Mahal and tour Delhi. Breakfast was great and when we had to leave early for a flight they rushed breakfast so we would not leave hungry. It was a great experience.

“Great small modern boutique hotel in a top Delhi location!”

Emblem is a modern boutique hotel in a great location of Delhi. Rooms were contemporary,clean and extremely well equipped. Very good service. Food was very good – Pastas were delicious! The wireless internet was great for connection, very fast... Overall a fantactic experience and I would highly recommend it!

“Excellent Property! Great Service! Would love to stay there again!”

Absolutely everything we requested was provided to perfection! From the car service pick-up at the airport, being greeted at the hotel with a welcome drink, and being given sincere, friendly and professional service in all aspects of our stay! The rooms were spacious and modern and the temperature in the room was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet in the hotel is quite good with a variety of main dishes. The food that they served when you order room service is excellent!!! I would highly recommend this hotel.

“Very Clean Nice Hotel!”

The hotel is quite new, clean and the food was good! Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Rooms were nicely furnished the hotel was good base. I was there on business so the included internet was a big plus!. Would definitely stay there again!

“Nice Boutique Hotel in Delhi”

The Hotel is conveniently located at about 20 minutes Tuc Tuc ride from Downtown or the India Gate. It has a commercial centre at a 15 minute walk (or 5 minute tuc tuc or cab) where you find restaurants (Macdonalds, bars, etc) and shops. Price / Quality was very good.

“Not impressed at all”

When an hotel describes itself as a "boutique" hotel, they have to live up to a minimum standard of standing out from the regular 2 star hotels. Sadly enough, the Emblem had none of those, the rooms were not clean, they even charged for the mineral water in the rooms, and the overall room quality was just average. the staff was friendly but they could do with some basic communication skills. The breakfast was average to poor, so the overall i would say is Average.

Area recommendations

Gurgaon has some nice hotels, despite being outside delhi, I stayed at the Leela Kempinski and this hotel is probably one of the best hotels in India.

Traveller's tip

Khadi Ashram has some great products for very reasonable prices, the governement run emporium is good but a bit on the expensive side, there is something called Deli Haat which is an open air market in Delhi that contains crafts from tribes and local people, you can find some great bargains for souvenirs there. As always in India bargain greatly

“Nice hotel near to Disneyland”

The hotel was exactly what we needed!! ... Just to sleep some hours, take a shower and get to the airport!!! ... Perfect!!
