We stayed for 2 nights when our daughter was married. This is a luxury hotel without pretentious staff. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The hotel is very close to the city but the rooms are quiet. The air con was a welcome. The power shower was amazing and the breakfast was delicious. We will definitely stay again.

"One night stay: Great hotel to stay at for Arena"
We arrived at the hotel at 09.30am to drop off our luggage, (officially check in is not till 2pm), as he had flown to Manchester. We were very happily told we could get into our room straight away. The receptionist was happy to guide us to places to eat in the area and how to get to the Arena. Reception made enquiries about how me got to the hotel from the airport. We explained we caught the train and walked. We were told that the hotel has a deal with the taxi firm to the airport, which worked out the same price as we had just paid, so we booked a taxi to get us back to the airport the next day.
We received our boarding passes for our flight through email and the reception were very happy to print our boarding passes for us, at no cost.
When we arrived in the room, it was huge, over looking the water and very clean. The only thing i noticed it the bathroom is getting a little bit tired after all the walking we ended up doing that day; I would have been tempted with having a soak in the bath, but the arylic on the bath had come away.
Breakfast was buffet style and plentiful and again the staff were happy to help with anything we asked.
I was very happy with our stay and hotels location. If or when we have to go to the Arena again I will definately stay here and make it 2 nights next time.

"Very convenient for business at Manchester Central"
Friendly staff, making one feel at home, especially the bar staff.
Breakfast ok but not a great choice.
Comfortable room, but soap and shampoo in dispensers attached to the wall.take your own.
I was staying on business and had to be at the exhibition centre so asked for an early morning call, this did not happen due to a computer error, so when I woke I had 40 mins. To shower, breakfast and get there. - set your own alarm if you need to be on time!
