“Great place for the money, can't wait to go back”

Great room, great staff and great location. Look forward to staying there again next year. Room had a full kitchenette, tile, granite countertops and a nice flat screen. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Very satisfied!

“Prison Camp”

Clean room and friendly staff. Accommodations were as advertised, but the conditions "for occupancy" were very restrictive. We were only there for two days - ahead of our time share an another resort. The rules and regulations remind you of a prison camp - clean up after yourself - but practically cleaning the room before your 10AM required departure - is ridiculous - plus the fines for "noncompliance". If you do not turn in your beach/pool towel by 9PM of the same day - $10 fine for each towel. (No consideration if you are conservative and will use it the next day.) Animals - we do not travel with animals on flights - but found it curious from their information on the animal rules: "Absolutely no pets allowed, with the exception of service animals. If a pet is found to be in your villa, you will be assessed a $100 fee. You must remove the animal from the premises within one hour and fine alternative accommodations. You must present a kennel receipt to the front desk. You will be billed fro cleaning the carpets, drapes, furniture, upholstery, and bedspreads. You will be billed by an extermination company to perform an extermination of the villa. You will have to pay for alternative accommodations for any owner who cannot use the villa as a result of your animal (note: it can take up to three weeks to rid a villa of fleas and other vermin)." Smoking - $175 fine. Wireless access - $5.99/day. Clean and empty your trash, and do dishes before leaving, or fine

“The Cove Ormond Beach”

Everything was fantastic - the only complaint was only one parking spot assigned per room, additional vehicles had to be stored off site even though there was a lot of unused parking spots. An additional space could not be rented either. The offsite parking list was dated and contained some incorrect info....

We arrived early and were able to get into our room early. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful and answered our numerous questions and inquiries. The room was clean and the pool area was very enjoyable.

“Family Friendly Hotel”

I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. There is a little waterslide for the children and a wading pool for the kids. The hotel supplies the towels, umbrellas and chairs for the beach and will set them up for you as well. The hotel is located in Ormond Beach and if you are looking for a nice area, where you can feel safe, then this is the hotel for you. I recommend the South Tower condos which all have a balcony that looks onto the ocean. Will definitely stay there again!

“Great Place for a Family Vacation”

Our family had a great stay at The Cove on Ormond Beach. Suites had an sufficiantly equiped kitchen. It was nice to be able to eat "real" food as opposed to having to eat out every meal. Beach Towels were available to borrow each day. Chairs and umbrellas were provided on a first-come-first-serve basis on the beach and at the pool. Beach was guarded (by the county I believe) during the day (we stayed in early June). Outdoor pool was lots of fun but at times very crowded for it's size. Pool is unguarded but they did have a staff monitoring the slide to insure one rider was out of the way before the next started down the slide.

“Great Ocean Value”

The Cove is a wonderful property right on the beach. Our room was on the 4th floor overlooking the water. The views were amazing, the sound of the surf was wonderful, and the living area/kitchen was outstanding. The bed could have been a little newer and firmer. When I visit family in Ormond Beach in the future, the Cove will be our beach retreat.

“hotel was great but not within walking distance to activities”

The Cove is a beautiful condo. We probably will stay again because it is not walking distance to activities, no tiki bar onsite nor within walking distance that we found, they play music at the pool all day long, and our mom sits on the balcony to listen to the ocean, but all you could hear was music, and vehicles are able to drive on the beach. They do have a great pool, lazy river, and slide for the kids, and the condo is awesome, just not exactly what we were looking for vacationwise.
