“my stay at the Ocean Trillium”

I love the condo feel of the Ocean Trillium without the deposit. Our room was perfect for my husband and me. We could cook or eat out.

“Smaller Hotel, but not small on comfort...”

Great place to bring the family. Close to great restaurants, grocery stores, convienence stores, entertainment and lots of beach front to lounge on. The pool area is smaller, but serves it's purpose. Everything is very clean here and the suites are comfortable for 2 to 6 people. You won't be disappointed. I live in the Orlando area and frequent New Smyrna Beach. When I want a long weekend stay or a week in the summer to enjoy the beach, I pick The Ocean Trillium.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The ocean view from the room was great. It was very close to shops and restaurants. And right on the beach, which was awesome! There was a great little restaurant and bar next door - the hotel was in a great location! I would definitely stay here again!

“Great "Old-Florida" Hotel!!!”

It is a nice beach place with a large balcony if you're ocean side. Lots of space! Full kitchen and dining area. Good size bathroom for 2 or 3 people. Pretty quiet and low-key with lots of privacy. Located next door to a beach bar, which is nice if you don't mind hearing the band at night, but once you go out to your balcony on the opposite side you can't hear anything but the ocean. It is "old-Florida" style (imagine the Golden Girls...lots of wicker and floral prints), but it is clean and has everything you could ever need in a hotel room. All-in-all a great choice!

This establishment was just right for us. The rooms were very comfortable, the view was great, the pool was sparkling. We loved the little bar next. door. We were planning our return before we even left!

The rooms were very clean and well appointed. Someone came daily to clean the room. The rooms feature a full kitchen with all necessities available. The view was beautiful. The pool deck was nice with the beach just a few feet away. All in all a very good experience, I will be staying here again in the future.

“Ocean Trillium Suites - A++”

The rooms were extremely comfortable and spacious. The two double beds had ample space between them, you could stretch out on the couch or kick back in a chair in the living room. The balcony had a direct view of the ocean and if that wasn't good enough, all you had to do was walk outside. The rooms were quiet, I never heard any of the neighbors. And sometimes it's the little things that really set a place off, here they deliver the local paper to your door. Not a big thing, but how many other places do that. It was a great place to stay!!

“Our favorite place on Florida's east coast”

This is the third time my wife and I have stayed at Ocean Trillium Suites and we appreciate the place more every time we stay there. First, there is only 32 units in the building (8 floors times 4 units per floor). This means the place is never crowded with guests, the pool and tanning area (up from, but right on the beach) is relatively unused -- perfect for trying out that "less than full coverage" bikini before venturing into the surf. Because there are primarily single bedroom units (maybe exclusively) there are few families with small kids that stay here making it a very quiet environment. (2) All 32 units face the beach and have reasonable views. Try to get a unit that ends in "4" and is on or close to the 8th floor. 804, 704, etc. (3) Ocean Trillium Suites is located very close to the car/no car divide of New Smyrna Beach. If you want noise, people, excitement, activity, surfing contests, etc., head north (left) for six miles when you reach the beach from the unit; if you want to walk without vehicles, run, bike, fish, or just slow down, then head south for six miles from the unit. Best of both worlds! Highly Recommended -- rent a bike and ride the beach in either direction. (4) These units are really roomy. Truly suites. (5) Excellent kitchen facilities -- we like to cook at least some of our meals. Minor complaints: inflexible -- no early checkouts; limited parking.
