Suite fitted the needs of our family of seven adults. Suite was clean and comfortable. Sofa bed was not made up in advance and we had to ask for the 7th set of towels. But housekeeping attended to this issue promptly.
Food was excellent and the service staff was very good.
Tucked away on a secluded stretch of unspoiled Atlantic coast on over 2 miles of pristine beaches, this destination resort …More
The desk people were attentive and efficient. The room was lovely and a beautiful view of the ocean. Dinner was delicious and the wait staff went out of their way to be friendly. One person even went across the street to get something we needed while we ate dinner. I would highly recommend this hotel and I will be going back and staying longer.
The hotel was over booked for the ocean view room that I paid for. They did upgrade to a 3 bedroom 3 bath condo which was very nice with a side view of the ocean very clean and lot's of room long balcony. I spook to the manager who was very helpful and gave me another night to stay another time for my ocean view room. Very happy to be going back soon looking forward to it. Everyone was very nice very relaxing great place to go for a get away or vacation.
As this was my third stay at the Oceanside you can probably tell that I like it. The staff has always been very helpful and friendly. The free breakfast is nice although the offerings were better the first two stays. The hotel is showing its age but I think it adds a touch of class. The lobby is very attractive and the grounds around the pool are kept impeccable. I plan on staying here during my next visit to Daytona.
"perfect location, oceanfront rooms, on the strip"
Some of the reviews I read prior to my stay had me a little bit worried. But we got a nice oceanfront room with a balcony. Laying out by the pool, with the poolside bar was awesome. Located right by the entrance to drive onto the beach, but located on the opposite side of where the traffic was so this kept the beach crowd low. Walking distance of the pier and park. Joe's Crab Shack on the pier is a MUST!! If the lady downstairs by the pool is still living there, do not give her any alcohol. She's crazy!
Great hotel, just two small complaints. Music piped outside is VERY loud if you have a ground floor room. Tried to watch football game on TV in patio, had to go inside. Resort fee was added after the fact, would like to have been told that was part of the deal.
I was in Daytona on a working vacation. My room was well set up to allow me to have a work space and a relaxing space. WiFi worked great and having access to a business center was very useful. The pool Area was clean and quiet which made it possible to work from outside ad well.
