Loud banging noises all night. No soap in bathroom. Hole in the bedspread. Musty smell. Pretty terrible experience as we got about an hour of sleep. They need to make some serious improvements

Not even a mirror in the room! None. No soap. No screens in windows. Head board falls on the bed not attached. Mold all over the shower curtain. No help from front desk. Asked for a new room. He said it would be an extra $150. I can’t believe Expedia recommends this hotel on their site.

Staff on property were nice enough, but the rooms themselves were severely lacking. Stain that I’m fairly certain was blood on the curtain, burn holes in the covers and mattresses, and the roach infestation was insane. I had to go out and purchase bug spray, and cleaning supplies to be able to feel semi comfortably in the space. Scared the whole time to leave any snacks or drinks out knowing it would attract the roaches that came from under the bed frame and from behind the fridge and microwave. We only stayed there because the previous hotel accommodations I had were canceled by the property due to “seasonal renovations” 2 weeks before we were to arrive, and there were no other available hotels or motels in the area for the dates I needed. I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone with a roach phobia.

Ghetto Hotel
This is a very ghetto hotel. I paid a deposit for a key that never worked. The shower curtain would not stay inside the tub yet the shower spray was super strong causing flooding in the bathroom. The TV never worked. No microwave in the room. Overpriced for what you get. Will not return!

Was pleasantly surprised.
The reviews for this hotel were so bad i didnt really know what to expect. It was bike week and spring break time, so the prices for all were through the roof. We chose this strictly on price. It was outdated and needed some work, but you could tell they put some effort into it. Had newer toilet, bathroom sink and shower faucet. Owners were extremely friend and did their best. No complaints here.

It was great we stayed over a week the family that ran it was nice and friendly prompt to your needs are remote broke and they fixed it right away daily cleaning and over all we had a great time great location I read reviews and they don’t do those people justice there were very welcoming

Desk staff was in a towel and demanded a 20 dollar cash security deposit. I demanded a reciept thankfully as they did not wish to return the deposit on check out. The towels were awful. The duvet was burned in spots. No service of the room for entire 3 day stay. Place is a dump

1. Wi fi not available at night; 2. No soap at the room. Need to go to reception to pickup; 3. Hot water takes about 10 minutes to be available in the shower; 4. It was asked a 20$ deposit at the check-in. At the check-out, i needed to ask, then was suggested 10$. Sounds unfair. 5. Strange people at the neighbor room tried to intimidate me because I parked in the wrong spot. By the way, the room had no number identification at the door, then I was confused about where to park. I have been in other economic places in Daytona Beach, but this one was far the worst experience.

Conveniently located right across the street from the beach. Might be a bit more expensive than it should be off-season, but overall worth it for our needs. Definitely a budget motel, but has all you need for a quick beach weekend stay.

Good: comfy bed & beach across the street. Not good: waited 1/2hr for someone to get to the office. Bugs in the room & almost 2 wks later & I still have not yet rec'd my $40 dep. This motel has much potential, but rooms, property & employees need improvement.
