“Things were fine.”
We are on and in and out type of setting for our hotel use. And for those purposes, things were fine.
“Good place to spend the night...”
We stayed at the Red Rooof Inn while in the area for a family function. It was located in a good location and we walked to the restaurant next door for supper. We would stay here again.
“Lumpy Bed & Dangerous Shower”
Mattress on King size bed was uncomfortable (lumpy). Floor of Shower was slippery, hazardous for older persons. No grab bar on back wall of shower to steady oneself. Only one foil packet of shampoo for two persons. Minimum towels provided. Office personnel were friendly and courteous. Proved extra towels and shampoo when asked. Extra towels were required for floor by shower, since bathmat was required in shower to prevent slipping.
“Great Deal!”
This was a great hotel for the price. Very clean and friendly staff.
“Nice”
Good value. Our room was clean and well equiped.
“Nice for the money”
We were looking for a reasonable hotel that accepted pets for an overnight stay while enroute to another destination. Red Roof Inns is a very pet-friendly chain and most of them have no weight restriction which works for us (we were traveling with a 100+ pound Labrador Retriever) . The hotel was very easy to get to (right off the interstate). When we arrived that evening for check-in we were greeted by a very friendly clerk. The rooms were clean; however, I did notice some peeling paint in the restroom with some stains over near the tub (mold?). I remember staying there a few years ago when they were going through a remodel. I assumed they were done based on the decor (granite in the sink area and updated furnishings). I really wished they would have spent a little extra on the beds (they were not the best I've slept on but probably not the worst either). The only downside I can think of is that although it is pet-friendly, there isn't a lot of grassy areas around for your pets to relieve themselves. Luckily our Lab is not picky about where he goes (you could probably give him a 12" X 12" piece of grass and he would use it).
“Nice for the price”
I only stayed one night at the hotel the room was clean and the staff was friendly. Stayed in a room with a king size bed the mattress was a little uncomforatble and there were some really loud people staying a few doors down from us. I would stay again for the price and the convience of the mall and restuarants.
“Quiet, Hot shower, Restful, Economy Stay”
No problems at 9PM check-in. The staff was friendly, professional, and courteous. Signs and staff direction allowed us to find our room in 2 minutes. Parking was at our room, 5 feet away. Some snow in / near the parking spaces, just had to be careful. Sidewalks shoveled and salted. No safety issues. Noise came from the onramp (200 feet away) to the Rt. 75 Highway nearby (200 yards), but didn't affect sleep, just muffled large 18 wheel trucks, among other traffic. The room was quiet. No noise from other guests. Occupancy seemed like 66% or more. Clean sheets, fluffy pillows, restful. No trouble sleeping. The electronic door key worked perfectly. Cable TV worked fine. Pay movies seemed a bit expensive. Lockable safe available in the room, which we didn't have need for. Bathroom, clean and scrubbed. Shower was welcome, and hot. Ample courtesy soap, and towels. A/C Heater Knob "Slipped" on spindle so that it was full A/C, full Heater, or off. We left the heater "on" and it was fine. No breakfast, we knew that prior. A Perkins across the street, Bob Evans up the hill. Would definitely stay there again.
“Bargain”
Nice place other that a heater that could not be set to a comfortable termperature range. Also no hot water at 7 am.
“Just what we expected”
Perfect for a one night stay. Room size was good, comfy bed. Only complaint was noise fromoutside.
